I was wondering if you were near the hurricane! YIKES! We got rain from it yesterday; stormed ALL day, some flooding😐 . Doesn't sound like A very good reading month, so sorry.😑. Hate when a month goes like that. I am not afraid to DNF a bk. because there are too many good bks. out there. Amanda, don't say you'll never get to Nantucket. MAKE it happen sometime. I am originally from Massachusetts and Nantucket is off the coast, off the coast of Cape Cod (another part you will love). I guarantee you, once you visit you'll never want to leave! I think you and Laura shld. go for a Best Buds week. Take it from someone who lived small, was afraid to reach for her dreams, so never did, and really regrets it at 74. 🤗

Good to know that maybe I read the worst Adrienne Young. I read Spells for Forgetting and felt so bored but finished it. I’ll try a different book from her. Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood, I didn’t feel the couples connection. I prefer her quirky upbeat fmc. Love your channel ladies! 🥰

Glad to see y'all are OK after that Hurricane, I got out of Houston the week before Beryl hit 🌀 I kind of felt the same about Archer's Voice, but did enjoy and gave it 4 Stars, but definitely didn't give me the same feels it gave everyone else 🤷🏻♂ I also read Being Lolita and thought it was a really good memoir and makes me think I need to read Lolita 📖 Disappointed to hear your opinion on Spells for Forgetting... It's a book I want to read after LOVING June Farrow 😔 I just bought Not In Love and I'm nervous to read since I've heard several reviews having similar thoughts... A.H. is on a two-book 5 Star roll with me(Check & Mate and Bride) I also loved Funny Story(4.5)... Annie Bot was good(3.75), but I wanted Annie to be a bit more sinister
