My thinking about some personalitys Cordelius: hes the one who is everytime alone but when your a good friend with him he can be nice and he has something like autismus and a social scare Hank: he can suck with his military things but hes also nice and he can help everyone he sucks because he had a hard time in the war and hes a nice old soldier Charlie: shes a big artist but hate it when her fans are too bad and she love it to walk on ice and she want sometimes just be privat she grow up in the streets and her favorite place is paris

Actually, Gale's description says no one told him to not work while guests r around and his pins suggests he is just a kind, friendly, old man who, based on pins like "never too old to be a bit bold," was perhaps a bit troublesome and adventure-loving in his youth. Even his angry pin is just him saying "kids these days" in a rather calm tone, more annoyed than angry.
