Prime Cain certainly had the potential to be the greatest MMA Heavyweight of all time. He was very well-rounded and the pace he put on these Heavyweights was scary to watch, most guys would literally melt underneath his pressure and often in the 1st round. Really only Fabricio Werdum was able to find the answer to Cain's style. The fact we never got to see prime Cain vs Stipe is such a shame.

@@phucc5907 Werdum had the style to stifle Cain. He had super slick BJJ and was extremely dangerous off his back, somewhat nullifying Cain's wrestling. He had educated Muay Thai skills, also somewhat nullifying Cain's dirty boxing skills in the clinch. Werdum was also decent at range, while Cain wasn't really known for being a rangy striker. Werdum was a bad matchup for Cain, even factoring out the altitude Cain was NEVER going to dominate him.

@@jazzabighits4473 1. "Vigilantism is bad" surely you understand this claim could in no way be wholly objective or anything... 2. Only serves my points 3. Hanging out with a criminal doesn't make you a criminal, that's right. But you lay with dogs and you get fleas. And Cain isn't crazy. Dude have you ever had a minor family member molested over 100 times and the justice system did nothing? If so, what did YOU do about it... My moral principles are don't fucking hang out with serial molesters. It's not like the guy didn't know. Don't give me that "oh YOU could be hanging out with someone like that and not even know it! What about PSYCHOPATHS". Generally I'd agree with all your points but this is a special case. It doesn't make what Cain did "right" but for God's sake he shouldn't go away for 20 years. You know those comments you see everywhere saying "he did what any of us would do"? I guess that excludes you since you're such a moral exemplar.

His fights with JDS were the best because of his stamina & aggression. The heavyweights we have now are sluggish & boring (most of them)

Imagine a heavyweight with all of the stopping power that comes with being a heavy weight. Only that heavy weight has the speed, agility, and cardio of a welter weight. No wonder this guy was a nightmare.

It’s crazy how Cain probably and maybe is the best heavyweight which could of been way more definitive if he didn’t get injured and same can be said about Dominick Cruz and other maybe best bantamweight but injuries stop him from making that definitive. Cool see Chicano represention
