it wont become an issue until in the future whenever all cars require them. then there will be a rule with your insurance to provide the inside and front camera when the accident happens. Right now youcan just choose to upload the front camera and ignore what was happening on the inside.

its a big no-no for me to have a camera always recording me and being uploaded via cloud. now you have to trust the car company to not get hacked just in case they pick up any sensitive information or data. even some content moderators/QA testers at companies have been occasionally known to use the uploaded footage for their own nefarious purposes.

I like the idea of a built in dashcam, but I will never buy a car with an interior cam. There’s no telling who can access those cameras, and with improving ai, car companies will for sure start abusing that. Like Tesla disabling auto pilot if you use your phone, but it is for sure going to go further than that.
