Even though I'm digging the overall concept of this movie, I still wish they would finally give us a live-action movie, similar to the bumblebee one, where Optimus will finally battle against Megatron and they would all have their designs based on G1 and Megatron and Optimus would be voiced by their original voice actors Peter Cullen and Frank Welker! No crossovers or anything like that, just a standalone G1 live-action movie.

I assume the rift between optimus and megatron will be similar to how it was in the aligned universe. Megatron wants change through force while optimus wants a peaceful solution for the cybertron.

I'm hoping to see Hot Rod with a faithful design. Even if he's a minor character or just has a few appearances it would be nice. Then again if this gets a sequel or if it's turned into a trilogy then i'd say we could see more characters in the future but that might just be wishful thinking on my part. Still, i think it has potential and seeing Hot Rod would be nice.

After rewatching both the G1 series AND cyberverse, I really feel they should give HotRod/Rodimus a shot. He was a different kind of leader. More like a Joe leader than Prine, but his dynamic was not essentially bad. It's sad that Hasbro and sadly the so called fans, don't give other leaders a chance. Not a fan of Bee being a leader, but if Batman Bayond and Spidervserse taught us anything, u can make a new character lead the show, if done right...
