Diego is a risky person to travel with. He stays alone, carries no necessary supplies but insists on bringing a guitar, makes you travel right before night fall to an underground railway that has Nocturnals living in it, breaks the ladder and doesn't suggest you use the broken half to give yourself a height advantage and instead makes you travel alone to get rope, drops the guitar of course, makes you figure out how to turn on the school's power (and makes you feel incompetent if you can't by the way), opens the school's garage door and leaves you ALONE while it's open giving Mia and the Nocturnal opportunity to enter the building. He also makes you feel bad if you want to travel together even though it's logical not to. He even tells you that you got him killed even though he left that garage door open.

And I'm assuming he brought some essentials because he had a bookbag and they had to leave the nocturnal was coming for them and the ladder thing Ted Is Injured and I think that was for the plot like IN LIS Max could've done half those things If she climbed and the noctural was too big to fit through that tiny a gap and theres an ending where this all could've been avoided had you just told the truth! And It showed Ted (Courtneys Ted) was Incompetent you did get him killed because a. you lied to him and said they were all dead. B. you killed that woman (fair but still) Diego has his flaws no doubt but this Ted did get everybody killed
