Ameen! Jesus in the Bible was a Muslim because he preached and worshiped only ONE God exactly the same way Muslims preach and worship ONE God (pure monotheism). Here's proof from both the Holy Quran and the Bible…. 1) Holy Quran 5:72 72 "They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers." Holy Quran 19:36 36 [Jesus said], "And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path." Now let’s take a look what Jesus has said in the Bible and commanded his followers to do so... Mark 12:29 29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord OUR God, the Lord is ONE." John 17:3 3 "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have SENT." Luke 18:19 19 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone.” John 14:24 24 “Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who SENT me.” John 5:30 30 “By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who SENT me.” Matthew 15:24 24 He answered, “I was SENT only to the lost sheep of Israel.” Matthew 26:39 39 "Going a little farther, he fell with his FACE to the GROUND and prayed." Noticed how Jesus (peace be upon him) always gives credit to God Almighty and he worships his Creator just like Muslims do by placing his head on the ground. 2) Jesus also called his lord as Allah just like Muslims do today. Here's the Aramaic proof... Jesus spoke Aramaic NOT Hebrew which most people think. The word for God in Aramaic is Alah or Allah which is a slight accent/dialect within the Semitic language. Matthew 21:10-11 10 "When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?' 11 "The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the PROPHET from Nazareth in Galilee.” (Jesus) Luke 13:33 33 "Nevertheless I must walk today, and tomorrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a PROPHET perish out of Jerusalem.” Luke 24:19 19 “What things?” he asked. “About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a PROPHET, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. Matthew 13:57 57 “And they were deeply offended and refused to believe in him. Then Jesus told them, “A PROPHET is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family.” Matthew 5:17 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the PROPHETS; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” Acts 2:22 22 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a MAN accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.” Even those who witness his miracles at first hand called him a Great Prophet! Luke 7:15-16 15 "The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother." 16 "They were all filled with awe and praised God. “A great PROPHET has appeared among us,” they said.” John 9:17 17 “Then they turned again to the blind man, “What have you to say about him? It was your eyes he opened.” The man replied, “He is a PROPHET.” John 4:19 19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a PROPHET.“ So who should we believe? Those who knew, met, and witness his miracles or those who NEVER met him nor ate/drank with him telling us he’s “god” or “son of god”? Seriously, those people need to study the Bible carefully and thoroughly about what Jesus himself said because their eternal salvation depends on it. Jesus prayed to and worshiped Allah only yet they refused and want to pray and worship Allah’s creation (Jesus) instead of the Creator who is Allah. If they continue to reject the true teachings of Prophet Jesus, then Jesus himself has already warned them on what he will do/say to those who claimed to worship him on the Day of Judgment when he and everyone else are in front of Allah Almighty. Matthew 7:22-23 22 “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!” Subhan’Allah! Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. Even the word Hallelujah is the same as Alhamdullilah since both words are praising Allah in his actual name yet they don’t even realize it. May Allah guide them and continue to guide us. Then you all will return to me, and I will judge between you in matters about which you disagree. In this verse Allah's caused Jesus to die and purify him from those who denied the truth ,it is refers to his crucifixion, which caused his death, At the height of his ministry and miracles, many Jews came to believe in Jesus as the Messiah, Jewish rabbi's feared Jesus because of his growing followers. With the help of Judas Iscariot, Roman soldiers arrested Jesus, and He was put on trial for claiming to be the king of the Jews. According to Roman law, the punishment for rebellion against the king was death by crucifixion.The Roman governor Pontius Pilate was reluctant regarding the punishment for Jesus. Pilate could find no wrong in Jesus, yet he wanted to give the people what they wanted, and that was the death of Jesus. Pilate washed his hands in front of the crowd to symbolize that he was not taking responsibility for the bloodshed of Jesus and then handed Jesus over to be beaten and lashed. The Prophet mention about a prophet saying "Umar ibn Hafs narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Al-A’mash narrated to us, he said: Shaqiq narrated to me, he said: Abdullah said: It is as if I am looking at the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, narrating the story of a prophet from among the prophets whose people beat him until he bled, and he was wiping the blood from his face and saying: O Lord, forgive my people, for they do not know. حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شَقِيقٌ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَحْكِي نَبِيًّا مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ ضَرَبَهُ قَوْمُهُ فَأَدْمَوْهُ، فَهْوَ يَمْسَحُ الدَّمَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ وَيَقُولُ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِقَوْمِي، فَإِنَّهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ The Prophet of Allah is referring to the prophet Jesus whom they beat until they nailed him to the cross. ------ (Tafsir al Nafi - Tafsir Wamaenaa Al- Quran AlKarim ,On Surah 3 ,Ayat 55 ,By Shaykh Nafi ibn Abdullah , Basra Iraq -1975)

Brother absolutely nails it shedding light and bringing it together, giving the limelight to Gods previous revelations and articulating proficiently as to why the Quran, being the final revelation was necessary, thus completing and perfecting the age old religion of Islam. Now I've read a few comments from Christians, and if I were in your shoes (and also Jews), instead of throwing insults I'd be questioning the priests and rabbis and the learned scholars of why they've changed things and kept hidden the truth - the the coming of the final Messenger (Muhammad Pbuh) which was already foretold in previous revelations. People you have the truth presented in black and white, and you have absolutely no reason to deny Islam. It is after all the true faith of all Prophets. Not "Christanity", not "Judaism" terms which God gave no authority for. And if you shrug your shoulders and remain stubborn..well be prepared to face consequences in front of God. There are no excuses.

First of all, the priests and scholars who made the Bible are not alive. Because the Bible is older than Quraan. And the Bible speaks about Muhammad as a false prophet. I'm wondering why Muslims are not thinking deeply about the remarkable, unique characteristics of Jesus, said in Quraan. The Quran says, Jesus is the word of Allah; Jesus was born from a Virgin; Jesus had the creating power; Jesus is coming back, etc. Why not other prophets? Why only Jesus? Why should a Virgin give birth to Jesus? Why not a married woman chosen for His birth? If Jesus was the Word of Allah, then what is Quraan? Did Jesus died or not? If yes, how? If no, why? Why didn't Jesus die but other prophets died?

{ إِذۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ یَـٰعِیسَىٰۤ إِنِّی مُتَوَفِّیكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَیَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَجَاعِلُ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱتَّبَعُوكَ فَوۡقَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ یَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَیَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَأَحۡكُمُ بَیۡنَكُمۡ فِیمَا كُنتُمۡ فِیهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ } [Surah Āli-ʿImrān: 55] In AlQur'an, mentioned Chistians will reign supreme till Doomsday. As it is, now Christians are the most civilised already.

It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: "The Messenger of Allah SAW said: "Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death." 2. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet SAW said: "He who says 'Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of sea. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) 3. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet SAW said: "There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subhana Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhanalli Al-Azeem (Glory and praise is be to Allah, Glorified is Allah the Most Great)." (Al-Bukhari) 4. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet SAW said: "He who repeats Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty three times, Al-hamdu lilah (praise be to Allah) thirty three times and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) thirty four times and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharikalahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdh, wa huwa 'ala kulli shai'in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and His is the Omnipotent) will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea." (Muslim) 5. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet SAW said: Whoever says Astaghfirullah al-Azeem al-ladzi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy Al'Qayum wa atubu ilaih (I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Most Magnificent, than whom their is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of Existance, I turn to him in repentance). His sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged if fighting for the cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam) 6. The Prophet SAW said "Whoever recites Darood Sharif on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIRBANI) 7. Whoever read Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, "If that's the case, then we will increase our palaces!" The Prophet SAW responded "Allah is better and greater (in reward). (Ahmad) 8. Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. (Bayhaqi) 9. Whoever says: "Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya" - "I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Muhammad as my Prophet, Paradise would be (made) mandatory for him. But imagine if Christianity was not made, and the warnings of severe punishment to Christians in quran on taking isa (Alai) as son of God was not mentioned in quran, there might be a group of people who might have formed a new group after the death of prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) saying that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) is a God or son of God. If this problem was created, then there would be a necessity to send another prophet after our beloved prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). *Jesus Worshiping His God:* Let us look at Luke 5:16 *"And he (Jesus) withdrew himself into the wilderness and prayed to his God."* Here we see that Jesus had a God, a supreme God, who is higher than him and stronger than him. Also, let us look at Matthew 26:39 *"And going a little way forward, he (Jesus) fell upon his face, praying and saying 'My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me. Yet, not as I will, but as you will.' "* Here in this verse we see two things: (1) Jesus bowed down on his face and prayed in submission to his GOD in obedience. (2) Jesus was begging his GOD to let the cup pass away from him. Jesus did not have the power to will it for himself and make the cup pass away from Jesus. GOD had to do it for Jesus !. How can Jesus be the Creater of this Universe, the all knowing, most powerful??!! Also, let us look at Matthew 26:42 *"Again, for the second time, he (Jesus) went off and prayed, saying: 'My Father, if it is not possible for this to pass away except I drink it, let your will take place.'"* My comments on this verse are similar to the above one (Matthew 26:39), Jesus begged his GOD to will what Jesus wanted to happen. Jesus couldn't will it by himself. Also, let us look at Matthew 26:44 *"So leaving them, he (Jesus) went off and prayed for the third time, saying once more the same word."* Here we see that Jesus for the third time begged his GOD to will what Jesus wished for in Matthew 26:39 above. How can Jesus be the Creator of this Universe if he (1) begs, and (2) lacks power??!!

Id just like to express how good it is to have a perspective that takes jesus for what he demonstrably was - a wise man, a messenger of truth, a victimised resister of tyranny, and a leader of men - without having to ascribe to him the very crown of the maker of all creation. A maker i donf even believe in, but surely the perspective of islam is that these men, the prophets and messengers, they were people that lived and breathed and bled and had a potential for sin like any other mortal person is what makes them real and relevant to people today in their lives snd their hearts. So i mean to say i appreciate that the islamic gaze toward christian dogma casts a secular truth - the transcendant truths are carried by people. People empowered by truth change the world, and whilst i dont believe in a god I do believe in individual muslims, their morality and their sense if justice and drive to see good done in this world.

This is interesting. It sounds like Isa is more endowed by Allah than Mo. So why do Muslims say Mo came to complete Isa? A lesser 'prophet' completing a greater prophet's work? BTW, the Jesus of Christianity did not do away with the Mosiac laws, He came to complete it i.e. the final work of redemption through His sacrifice, after which no more need for sacrificial offerings. Just accept a covenant through Jesus & obey His commands. For me, I'd rather follow the one who comes to judge on the last day. Cheers.

Can I just say, Christianity wasn't Jesus' fault. He didn't invent it. I don't think there's a single point in any of the Gospels where he says flat-out, "I am God." Rather, he says to the people accusing him of saying that, "YOU say I am," denying their claim and turning it back on them. After he'd died, though, Paul went and made him God, which was the greatest disservice to Jesus' teachings he could have possibly done. Paul made it so that people worshipped the messenger instead of practicing the Message.

First of all, it's very important to do good deeds in Christianity. The modification of Moses' laws is, "We should do those laws, not just as deeds, but from our heart. " That's why Jesus uses the word Love. If we love God, we won't do anything that God doesn't like. If we love our every one, we won't do anything bad to them. According to Moses' law, killing is sin. According to Christian law, hating itself is a sin equal to murder. It's true that Jesus was crucified for our sins. But we need to live a sinless life and sanctify ourselves if we do any sin. Without holiness, one cannot enter heaven.

Every Muslim must know: that Muhammad thought that Christians would believe that the holy trinity was Allah, Jesus and his mother Mary. But it was never mentioned anywhere that Mary was part of the Holy Trinity. If the Koran is supposed to be a dictate from God, why didn't God know what Christians believe? Furthermore, Issa from the Koran and Jesus from the Bible are two completely different people, with two different mothers. There are no similarities between Christianity and Islam. Christianity offers enlightenment to anyone who seeks it and does not approach people with the intention of convincing them and winning them over, since free will has the highest priority in Christianity. So if you're a Christian and don't know enough about your faith, it's recommend to visit a monastery.

What does it mean 'those who have not menstruated as well'...is Allah implying that these are children who have not menstruated....if yes, then don't Allah the creator know the reason for menstruation.
