I think teams should think more about who they attack on a site, like people avoid nats like the plauge but other sentinals dont get that level of respect

Of course they respect whoever they face against. They just have their own strats and adaptation throughout the game , it's a common thing in pro play. When a sentinel player play decent/good at holding site and the opponents still come to his site it doesn't mean they didn't respect him , it means the opponents have their strats and adaptation to play against him. Look at how NRG and EG play against Liquid , how their IGL calls and midrounding takes them the dub against Liquid and Nats. they'll swarm Nats site if they have the strat and adaptation in the game. and then they go even further in the tournament compare to Liquid. It's just a part of the game.

i think the issue is that good sentinal players dont commit all their utility to holding 1 site, if you continue to avoid hitting a sentinels sight and the other team realize that then the senti can start splitting their util and giving their team huge amounts of map control because of it, youve probably seen it on haven for example where you have a KJ use an alarm bot and a turret for info on garage and b and their body and mollies to hold C and basically allow their team to play heavy towards A, a good sentinel would adapt if teams just didnt hit their site.
