I miss this Kulu. Proved an irreplaceable player in our system but hasn’t hit the same highs he provided last year after injury troubles. He’s so talented and I hate to see what happens in the future whether we sign him permanently and the impact he has under a new manager. Conte showed the demon inside, can a new manager get that same player to return. Had a great start to this season and I thought we were going to see him have a season like Saka is having, instead looks a completely different player who’s lacking confidence and sharpness. I won’t forgive people who wrote him off after 20 minutes in 2 games as substitutions, he’s been one of our most important players and stepped up so often, form is temporary but class is permanent, he’ll bounce back soon and has recently started reaching that quality he showed every week in little glimpses here and there, we made a mistake by selling Doherty, he had a great relationship and partnership that worked so well when paired together because they suited each others style immaculately, he needs a run of games to get sharp, build an understanding with Porro who is already proving his worth and getting a goal or assist to boost his confidence. He’s deceptively elegant for a large player who has it all, he’s our ginger swede and with Richys unfortunate injury that RW is his for the taking, one game a week, a RWB who will provide options offensively and the security to take risks through defensive security, I made a bet at the start of the season he’d finish top assister after coming close last year in half a season, he’s been unfortunate with injury troubles, a Sonny who couldn’t buy a goal wasting opportunities unlike his usual clinical self which had him placed as one of the top 10 most clinical players based on goal percentage compared to shots taken, he’d only need one chance and he’d bury it putting him up there and above the likes of Messi, Lewandowski, Aguero, Ronaldo and so many other elite forwards, and I’m not slagging him off let me make that perfectly clear because I’m one of the few fans left it seems that remembers how consistent he’s been for so many years, scored so many big goals and fantastic goals like his West Ham 30 yard rocket that resurfaces on the Spurs social when we play them along with the Dier and Winks debut goals or Kanes at the death brace winning the points and also remembering and being thankful for the times he’s stepped up when it’s crunch time. I love Kane to bits and think whether Conte goes or not it doesn’t matter, what is imperative to our next few seasons is signing him onto a new deal, I was annoyed with the whole City saga but after reading the whole story I understood Levy tried deflecting the blame onto the best thing to ever happen to the club and scapegoating him so fans wouldn’t cause riots if City met the £150m valuation which is a bargain, he’s still in his prime, is the worlds best striker and has been for years since about 2016/17, he’s a magical playmaker who makes things happen, he’s homegrown, causes no drama or defamatory incidents when so many players do and more importantly he deserves a real chance at winning a trophy for the sake of his career and respect, he’s constantly trolled for no trophies by remaining loyal and he’s the best player the clubs ever had and formed the most prolific PL duo ever, but he hasn’t yet stepped up properly, we’ve had semi finals and finals that have been lost and he was nonexistent or poor, Son took us to Madrid in 2019, Kane dragged us through the group, Lucas performed a miracle but Kane underwhelmed with the pressure sadly, but going back Kulu has been hurt by his teammates inefficiencies this season, injuries have stunted him and the tactics are negative and one dimensional paired with an atmosphere so tense in the club it could be carved by a butchers axe, nobody’s benefitting and has to be resolved quickly if we’re getting anything from this season like top 4, Europa League wouldn’t be the worst thing as we have an actual chance of winning it with the right manager but UCL football has more benefits
