Pin fit, terminal spreading…sounds like a Nissan😂 a lot of people get confused that dielectric grease promotes connection but it does not. This is a great choice over traditional dielectric grease. Thanks for the tip

Stabilant 22 is sold as a grease-like substance that is then mixed with alcohol. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same substance. The Amazon listing reads as though this is an insulator, but it's obviously a connection enhancer. It should never be used on spark plug boots as the listing states. True dielectric grease would make connections worse, not better. I've cleaned up the mess made by uninformed mechanics enough times to know. I'll be ordering some of this very soon.

The late Pat Goss recommended that more than 20 years ago and I have used it for trailers with crazy lights problems. Don’t know how it works but it works!

Do you put this type of grease in o2 sensor connectors? I've heard you should and shouldn't.

Do not grease o2 sensor connectors. Some o2 sensors get their reference air(outside air) through the connector. Wells Tech has in depth video about that

@@kaceybarry8086 You can apply a very light coating to the male pins. Gobbing it in there will definitely suffocate the sensor. If pins that big are making poor contact, it's probably better to replace the connector regardless.

As a mechanic, I was always taught to use dielectric grease on distributor caps and rotors to stop radio frequency interference. Perhaps, that is why it works for networks?

Different products. The Amazon listing and above link state "dielectric grease". The video and label on the jar state "dielectric lubricant". Dielectric grease is a contact resistor. Dielectric lubricant is a contact enhancer.
