Hi Rocky! It is a conical burr grinder, and it is ready in just a few seconds :)

Great video. Thank you. Do you think it's okay to use Starbucks espresso with this unit? Is the espresso hot? Does it pull a good of a shot as any other brand? How does it compare to gaggia? I had my last gaggia machine for 18 years and it's finally time to get a new one

Hi Rocky! Starbucks espresso is a little oily, hoever their blonde espresso is great! Which Gaggia did you have? The Jura Ena 4 is an awesome little machine :)

@@ecscoffeeinc Thanks so much. We have a gaggia synchrony. It is a tank. It's lasted 18 years but I think it's starting to wear out so I'm looking ahead. I love espresso but I get fearful thinking of camping it down myself. I like not having to think about it. I'm sure if I was taught how to do it correctly I wouldn't worry. I just want a quality shot of espresso that's decently hot. I love Starbucks espresso roast and the gaggia has never been gummed up.

@@infomercialguy A more manual espresso machine can produce a better espresso. However it takes more work to get there!

@@ecscoffeeinc ya know what, i'm all in for tamping my own "if" it tastes better! what machine makes the best espresso shot? i only do espresso shots. i don't do milk. zip. no drip coffees. just pull espresso. what would "you" buy?

Is the caffé doppio the exact same as having two “coffee” drinks?

Doppio is a double strength espresso with the same volume of liquid!

Isn't doppio supposed to be just like around 60ml?

Traditionally yes, but it can be anywhere form 45ml- 80ml! All to your taste preferences :)

Does the Ena 4 do Lungo and Ristretto espresso

You can program espresso short and the coffee, aka Lungo, aka dirty long also.

our boss just got us this ENA4 and for me bye bye keureg. i set it up for 2 beans and i love the single shot just the right amount.
