@@PetroicaRodinogaster264 I am not British and I mean this in a nice way. I am very interested and fascinated by different accents of different cultures (British, American, Irish etc.). I have also learned about the Geordie accent just by watching British comedy shows like this one, Ant and Dec, Michael McIntyre and other British comedy shows. I also studied English history, Literature ,government and Philosophy. William Shakespeare, G.K. Chesterton to name a few. I named my son Geoffrey after Geoffrey Chaucer, the English poet.

Sorry to East Enders fans, but the saddest scene of a dog passing away on a British soap was when Evelyn had to have Cerberus put down on Coronation street - I was SOBBING. I love Lee and David individually, but as a duo (trading barbs, etc.) they are UNSTOPPABLE

For me it's scrambling the digits. I often read a number and switch the individual numbers. (e.g 1468 but read it as 1486) . Which is annoying since I'm in accounting. 😅

@@laurazepam8382 I have a very interesting issue where, despite being German, I was raised partially in English as a means to develop language skills in a secondary language early on. I was and am what people would call an "early bilingual child". The issue arises when I have to handle numbers, because in my brain I'm thinking in English, but obviously - being German and living in Germany - whenever I have to say them, I have to say them in German. So for my student job, im working in my mothers bookshop, and whenever I'm at the register telling people how much money they need to pay, I get horridly messed up. As an example, in German, 42 is "Zwei-Und-Vierzig", which directly translated to "Two-and-Forty", whereas in English, as we all know, its "Forty-Two". Meaning that, in my brain, I go "That's Forty-Two" and then I need to pause, think for a moment, arrive at "Two-and-Forty", translate that to German, and only then I'm good to go. It gets better with practice, but is still extremely infuriating.

Don't spread misinformation. Yes, at small levels it won't kill a dog and will just upset their stomach. But in larger quantities (and by quantity, it depends on the size of the dog, it's not the same amount across the board) it is absolutely deadly. Literally everyone .. and their dog .. knows this.
