Nice video Matt! Been replaying FFVII Remake lately. I liked the original a good bit but wouldn’t of deceived myself as a super fan (anymore at least when I was a child I was obsessed with FF in general) nor was a clamoring for a remake. But the grab ended up grabbing me something fierce the first time thru! Mix of nostalgia and love for what they were doing different. Just had to play it again before the second game. I really need to pick up Grapple Dog and some of the other things you mentioned are news to me and seem up my alley. Keep up the good work!

I enjoyed your video on cassette beasts so I am working my way through some of your other videos. You do a good job of explaining what you liked and didn't like about the different games. I have found it funny that even though you like tactics and card games, like me, our opinions on quite a few of them do not align. That is fine since you do a good job of explaining what you do and don't like about each. Those types of games tend to really click with my brain so sometimes they tend to be too easy and therefore I like the ones you have mentioned are too difficult. I am not sure if you have played Monster train but its a great card game. It may be on the hard side but I am not sure since I didn't find it too difficult. (Keep in mind I beat slay the spire and monster train on max ascension so I am not sure how difficult you like your games). I really enjoyed the last spell which it sounds like you didn't I would only recommend mouse and keyboard but I guess you tried that. I will continue through your backlog of videos for now. I am curious about citizen sleeper but I know I will never play it so I want to listen to what other people thought about it since it seemed interesting but I am never going to play a game where I have to read that much. I also am going to try to pick up viewfinder hopefully it goes on sale during the next steam sale. It looks awesome but I am worried about it being on the easy side. I am currently playing the game Ugly and it is pretty good so far.

Picked up grapple dogs it looks cool! Also I share your opinion on turn based rpg's.. I couldn't get past anything other than pokemon For sure check out cassette beasts and exoprimal, love both of them 😀

another JRPG with turn based combat - but Octopath Traveler 2 has the absolute best turn based combat I’ve ever played! I’m very curious to hear what you would think. pretty sure there’s a demo!

I really hate live a live and triangle strategy and it's turned me off all of those

Planet of Lana got an hour. Sometimes it's far less. Sometimes it's more because I'm beating my head against it hoping it works. Or maybe I love something about it but not everything.
