My preference is for "history videos" for this universe to be based on the novels. This comes from someone who enjoyed the show more, by the way. The novels, by nature, provide more information. At first i was confused why all the Game of Thrones battles were missing - but that's because this is based on the series that didn't have any battles in the first season.

As a long time zombie fan, Hardhome is my favorite battle of show. They lost. Night King won. Night King did gis epic taunt when he raised the recent dead. It solidified to the viewers who the true threat of the series was.

Deanerys Thagaryen evolved into the character that would do such things like in the very last battle It was shown and teased throighout the seasons that she cant handle it if it dosent go her way And that if something is upsetting her, she reacts emotional and overreacts It did not feel like it camr out of nowhere and espacially if u watch GoT a couplr of times, u really see these hints in her character developing

i think that everyone who believes Danys descent into madness is out of character is completely delusional we’ve seen from the very beginning Dany was starting to lose grip of her madness as everything she worked to achieve from the very beginning was being stripped from her and everytime she tried following the narrow path ended in innocent lives being lost The Slaves cities she freed were brought back into slavery and the city she stayed in was attacked by the slavers causing innocent lives to be lost she lost her husband, brothers, father, mother, her three closest advisers, slavery was brought back to the cities she freed, and thats not even everything anyone would’ve lost it after bottling up their emotions

Daenarys really has been turning evil slowly for like the entire show, even as early as S2 Bran sees the iron throne with ash raining down and a dragon flying over King's Landing, not to mention all the increasingly fucked up things Daenarys has been doing to secure her throne throughout the series. It really made complete sense that at the end she would react that way, especially with how much they had been building up her and Cersei's mutual distrust of eachother trying to work anything out non-violently.
