I did not understand why Ferdinand and Hubert were such a popular pairing, and then I watched their last two supports and it's like the best little enemies to lovers story that I did not see coming. I don't think there are any implications in their paired ending but man, their supports are super cute. The voice actors did a cover of the song "For Good" that you can find on youtube. It's called "Billy & Robbie sing "For Good" COVER QUEST Eps #3 *NOT* in character from any specific IP, we swear." And yeah no one uses the phrase "stole away together" platonically.

Their supports together are really where the shipping comes from, but their ending is quite platonic so I didn’t think it fit here. Also lmao not the VAs doing a wicked cover in character that’s iconic 😂

I agreeee about Felix x Sylvain but I think their endings on paper don't really support that. If this was a video just about queer ships in 3H in general then it would definitely be here, but the azure moon ending says they get straight-married for their respective houses and then die at the same time, and the three other endings are like,,, they never saw each other except one time in the span of a decade. Idk maybe I could have had a more creative take and included it but I didn't think it fit this video but they definitely play into that military homoromanticism trope

The humor in this one is your best work methinks… “Dimitri can’t do math, can’t drive, has daddy issues” 😭 I did not expect Engage to outgay this game, I thought it would walk back tbh. But just hearing Alfred say “I love you” to M Alear was something I didn’t expect whatsoever, I got kinda emotional 😭 like WOW they really did something, progress! It gives me hope The Alois thing is so unfortunate because I love Alois, and I think the ending has merit, but I just don’t think anyone would’ve been upset if we’d had more gay options from the start! There’s 2 less options for men and the weren’t in base game, you even have to pay for one of them… it felt like they were scared, but Engage seems like a step forward so I hope we continue to progress!

With the alois ending, I think if S-ranks didn’t symbolize romantic union with most couples in 3H and in the prior games with marriage, then it wouldn’t have caused such a stir, especially bc it is well written enough that Alois could become a surrogate father to Byleth. 3H being queerer though will always be welcome haha, I haven’t had the chance to explore everyone in engage from my one play through but I’m hearing that there’s good content with the characters I didn’t focus on

Will always love Byleth and Yuri's (non-CF) endings, we stan immortal husbands. Dorothea and Petra is another favourite. Caspar and Lin, Sylvain and Felix, and Catherine and Shamir were fucking and no one will *ever* convince me otherwise. Forever sad that Dimitri was only allowed to hold hands with m!Byleth and not allowed to marry him just let us go the whole way; and regardless, Edie being the only bi Lord is a kick in the face. Seconding what Ciaran said, you were so dryly funny in this one, even more than usual. Really hoping for you to blow up one day!

It is a lot of work and editing can take a long time (I think I’m also not very strong at editing so that could be a contributing factor), but I think if you want to, you should do it. You kind of have to just start and once you get that ball rolling it gets a lot easier
