@TokyoSXfacts the bugeye is delivery runner up but the blobeye looked like a woman's car & from there they just got uglier every generation, to the point that it's now the Honda Prius RS 😂

The VA STI still had the EJ engine. It had the EJ257 in the states, and Japan kept the EJ20. Only the WRX had the FA20. Fun fact, the VA chassis was the first time Subaru sold the WRX as a standalone model vs a trim for an Impreza.

After releasing this video, I realized we overlooked the iconic 2001-2002 Subaru Impreza WRX ‘Bugeye,’ and it definitely deserves a proper mention. This car brought the turbocharged EJ20 engine and Subaru’s renowned symmetrical AWD system to the global stage, delivering rally-inspired performance to the streets. Its distinctive round headlights and aggressive styling earned it the nickname ‘Bugeye,’ and it remains a fan favorite among many JDM enthusiasts. With a lightweight chassis and tunable platform, it became a cornerstone for performance builds and track days. Apologies for missing it in the video-I’ll make sure it gets the recognition it deserves in future videos! 🚗💨

Not trying to call you out or anything, but is the script AI? I'm genuinely curious.

@@mrscoot595 yes and no. I use ChatGPT to help me format the video and save time on the outline, but I write the script myself based on what it gives me. That way it’s not just directly copied :)

@@TokyoSXfacts Gotchu, I use AI a lot myself so no judgement from me. Was just wondering because a couple things sounded exactly like ChatGPT lol. Otherwise I enjoyed hearing the facts from a real voice and with the nice b roll so nice vid!
