I recommend AVGN’s Monstermadness Godzillathon. He very quickly reviews almost all the Japanese Godzilla films up to before Legendary’s 2014 film. He does spoil some but leaves most things out for viewers if they choose to watch the films. They’re only a few minutes each but it’s a lot.

I love Godzilla, but there are many times that I am baffled with how it's become the longest running film franchise ever given how similar so many of the films are. Then again giant monsters fighting each other never really loses any appeal, so I guess it checks out.
