After Holt's heist, he started planning for the 3rd heist 3 months before he won (i.e. the 2nd heist). That means even with 1 year and 3 months prep time, Holt still lost T_T

Gina’s win doesn’t count; no one knew she was playing and her plan completely relied on her getting to make a bunch of dummy plaques that no one could know about since she was supposed to simply supply the plaque.

Amy should get credit for planning hers last minute on her first win. Gina had weeks to plan and everyone else had weeks or months. Also Hitchcock barely helped Amy.

Her win was also kiiiinda nonsense honestly, her and Rosa's are my least favorite heist Gina because she just dissapeared and came back and it was enough to easily fool everyone, also the "invisible clothes" was just straight lampshading x) It was funny but not clever. And Rosa because their was just too much in this episode so the twists felt reaaaally convoluted. In both their cases everyone else had to look dumb so they could win.

I like how each on these won by using their own psychological skills Jake disguised his intelligence as childishness Holt weaponized his position as captain Amy weaponized everyone’s own personality against them for with a theme of feminism Gina won by using her own creativity yet also making fun of everyone Boil won by seeing the proposal Terry won by hiding his true strength and by taking control Rosa won by using CIA tactics Hitchcock and Scully won because they could while no one thought the’d try

Here's my opinion. Jake won the 1st. Holt won the 2nd. Amy won the 3rd with Hitchcock and Scully. Gina won the 4th. The 5th is complicated, but Holt got it after midnight and Amy had a fake for the proposal, so jake won the 5th. Terry won the 6th, but he mentions cheddar as his partner, so cheddar's also a winner. Rosa and Scully won the 7th. Rosa and Scully won, making Scully the 1st 3 time winner, not Rosa. Then Rosa and the filing cabinet won. Finally, the grand champion of the nine-nine is Bill and Hitchcock. I wish they made more. Luckily the heists continue.

While the characters argue over how many heists they've each won, I hold that each member of the squad won once. Season 1: Jake won. Season 2: Holt won. Season 3: Amy won. Season 4: Gina won. Season 5: Boyle won. ("Jake and Amy are getting married tonight, title of _my_ sex tape!") Season 6: Terry won. Season 7: Rosa won. Season 8: Hitchcock and Scully won.

When you think about it, either no one was the winner of the 5th, or Jake was. Holt got the cumberbund, but only well after midnight - so don't know how he could ever say he was the winner. The cumberbund Amy got her hands on just before midnight clearly wasn't the actual one, what with the proposal message and all that. So you either say Jake won, because come midnight, it was hidden away by Jake in a location known only to Jake - and therefore technically in his possession - or you say no one won, because no one had their hands on it/had it on their person come midnight.
