Enjoying the videos as always. I'm no pro but just a viewers thoughts, on your Q10 hand I felt you should have made him pay to see the turn card, it would primarily prevent an easy flush chase and it would signal strength to any hand not holding an ace, which of course he ended up having. I felt even more strongly you should not have called the turn card. It seemed a strange call on the turn and river, I felt a semi bluff would have been more in order rather than playing defensively there. Please keep dropping videos

For sure I was "of the rails" with the QT! I really could have just folded the turn, any A and even any single heart draw has plenty of equity against QT here. I'd be more inclined to call the turn if I had the Q of hearts there. I like to include the blunders I make too, just so nobody gets the impression that I think I'm a great player! :D

@NoFacesPoker plenty of good plays in the video, I just gravitate towards "mistakes" as lessons. I'd say fold the turn woulda been solid too. I'm brand new and these videos help.

For sure! We can only learn and get better if we review our mistakes. I'd encourage you to learn to takes notes about your hands at the table. Jonathan Little is an excellent poker coach and has a great video on how to do that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4u9eniGptKbgpY I do this on my phone for every significant hand I play in a session, even if I don't end up putting the hand in a video.

Great vid - just wondering on the AJo hand, why shove river if you’re putting him on a draw? You’re unlikely to get called by anything worse than top pair which you lose to… second pair should be fine to check back river? Just my opinion though!

That's a good point that my logic in my commentary isn't consistent throughout the hand! Looking back at this again I still think the flop and turn check call action looks like a draw, but my river bet doesn't make any sense against that range. I should have just checked back or if I bet, bet very small to maybe induce a bluff!

@@NoFacesPoker yeah 100% a blocker bet would make more sense there to induce a bluff imo - shove just felt so weird to me considering it was second pair. We're always learning!

Should it raised more for the Kings

Yeah I try not to change my pre-flop bet size based on the strength of my hand... In this specific situation, I was out of position with a bad flop, a bad turn, and a worse river. Just wanted to include the clip to show that it's not always the right line to triple barrel a strong pocket pair.

2/5?
@NoFacesPokerАй бұрын
$1/2 I should have said that up front! Since a lot of straddling to $5 happens at this card room, it can easily play like a short stack 2/5 game for sure!

Not right now. It's a small channel and I'm still learning how to make the videos and how KZbin works. :)
