The thing that gets me about hardcore, especially raiding, is like... everybody has an off night. Or at least an off fight, once in a while. Everybody forgets to hit a button when they need to. Or a dog runs through the room knocking things over. Or there's SOMETHING, and then all it takes is one error and half a raid explodes because a debuff didn't get cleansed. Like all you have to do is make one tiny lapse in attention and poof, you and / or your raid gets chomped.

That BWL clip in chromaggus was just full of morons, tbh. Every single melee had the ignite flesh debuff, which is the red flight breath from the boss, it can't be dispelled and it will kill you unless you get healed constantly as it lasts for one minute. Which means all the melee greeded the breath for no reason and failed to move out.

The only mechanic that matters for mages on Noth is decurse. Literally nothing else matters. There is no "off night" or "off fight" for mages there. You have one job. No excuses.

@@TheShadoek I believe it was their First BWL, should have used GFPP before fight to mitigate incinerate's 1 minute dot. They might have been attacking chrom thru the wall which can cause you to get hit even out of LOS, not sure. They should have petri removed the 1 minute incinerate dot to avoid dying to the 10 secs of time lapse lack of healing.

@@isaacgame7304 I didn't hear the raid lead saying decurse, these guys are wearing late boss naxx gear, so they got complacent, Mage's and Raid lead at fault.

Raiding in this game wasn't designed with HC mode in mind. Death is expected, if you fail to kill the boss usually the entire group dies. I treat HC as a fun challenge on my way from 1 to 60, but not taking it further, I just can't be fussed to raid and be held accountable of many other deaths if I don't dispel some fucking curse once, or pull an add that is supposed to be kept in CC.

His macro made the npcs mad for some reason, literally no idea why. He wasn't warmode or anything. The only thing I can infer is that there was a rogue waiting in pvp and stealth and it snuck up to his pet.

@@TheShadoek what rogue man, you can't attack anyone without manually enabling pvp flag on hardcore. There is only two ways to get flagged on hadcore: 1. type /pvp 2. Get close to alliance/horde guards that they attack you
