While reading the manga Shinobu's death hit me the hardest. Truly heroic till the end. The fact she even anticipated her death for long tells us how much she was willing to sacrifice. Not to mention the drug which weakened Muzan in the final showdown was made by Tamayo and Shinobu. They would have never won without her. And that "Go to Hell" was so badass. ~Respect~

@@prime4305 No Sanemi and Giyuu can still live well beyond 25. They will only die if they use their marks after 25. Gyomei lived 2 years past 25 because he never used the mark until he was 27. Not to mention Sanemi had children because it showed his “descendants” in modern time.

If the demons were a bit more tactical and cared more about their allies, all of the demon slayers would have died. I think Nakime could have easily teleported the Upper Moons away from their battles when they came close to death, Muzan needs his fighters, he did a piss poor job of protecting himself after all. Kokushibo should have just executed Muichiro right then and there, slice Genya to pieces ruthlessly before Sanemi arrives, and overpower the now arrived Sanemi in quick succession and possibly kill him before Gyomei arrives. Gyomei would also die soon. Doma was too careless and arrogant, could have easily slaughtered Kanao and Inosuke before the poison took affect. But villains with great power over the fight must always stay their hand so more enemies can converge upon them.

I'm sure most of the upperdemons would win even without regeneration. They took unnecessary hits because they had regeneration. But most of them held back unless they were fighting more than one hashira. Did you see when Akuza used his chaotic blue attack on tojiro and giyuu? He was able to put them on the ground instantly. But didn't use it till the end because he was always holding back.

As I see it, the only attacks Gyumei Himejima took was either to save sombody else or a new surprise/desperate attack. Lost his legs to protect Inosuke. Saved sanemi's again again. Since tengen was already the fastest and 2nd physically strongest hashira pre mark. The mark would only make him faster and stronger. I think he would’ve Fs kept up with muzan’s attacks and the other hashiras. In rengoku’s case, another very fast hashira and not to mention very good breathing techniques. I feel like he would’ve kept up with muzan as well granted most likely all the hashiras that face muzan would most likely die

Rengoku is cool and all and is one of the demon Slayer characters I respect. But he didn't win against Akaza. In a fight, the one who survives is the ultimate winner. In this note. Rengoku lost. He died a hero though. I admit Akaza thereby all demons are cowards. That is why they gave up their humanity in the first place in fear of death, not all but most demons. My point is the one who survives is the ultimate winner. Staying in place and dying VS surviving and running away..... In the future Akaza will be killed. But that doesn't matter in point of this battle. I understand the whole point of this battle was to keep Akaza away from Tanjiro and the others. But when Tanjiro said that Rengoku won, that really got my head. Rengoku is still one or maybe he is my most favourite character in demon slayer. His simplicity and frankness really makes him stand out. RIP

No one asked but I couldn't help but rank the Hashira in power (this is assuming either all of them or none of them have the demon slayer mark) 1. Gyomei 2. Sanemi 3. Giyu / Rengoku 4. Muichiro 5. Iguro 6. Tengen 7. Mitsuri 8. Shinobu For context, I think Giyu and Rengoku are so close in terms of power they might as well have been put in the same rank; But if I had to say who was stronger, I'd say Rengoku when comparing his and giyu's fight against Akaza.

This ranking is a year old so maybe your thoughts have changed, but if they haven’t, how exactly is Tengen above Shinobu and Mitsuri? Mitsuri is a marked hashira, which already gives her the advantage over Tengen. Even without the mark though, she was fighting upper moon 4 & all of its dragons and had all her limbs in tact by the end of the fight, and all she really had help from was Tanjiro & Genya, both of which her depending on her. Tengen fought the weakest uppermoon (excluding kaigaku ofc), had help from 7 people, and still had to go into retirement by the end of the fight after losing an arm & an eye. Mitsuri fought the much stronger upper moon in its final & most powerful form + like 20 wooden dragons it made, and performed better than Tengen despite him having a lot more people help him.

In Shinobu’s case, she fought upm 2 without help & had some great feats. Douma cut shinobu’s collarbone, lung & ribs, and she managed to get up after that, making even him question if she was human. and despite being in that state, she managed to outspeed him, movinh around in all directions, literally splitting the bridge apart (words he himself stated), and he also stated afterwards: “she’s fast! I can’t predict her attack.” Tengen doesn’t have endurance feats like that or speed feats like that. she also managed to stb his eye and not even he could block it. if she uses a thrusting attack like that to Tengen brain during a fight with him, tengen wouldn’t be able to dodge it (as she’s already faster) and he won’t be able to block it, because of the 3rd strongest demon at that time couldn’t block it, how could he? and even if tengen did somehow manage to hit her, she got up after that attack douma hit her with, so she could definitely get up after anything tengen does.
