Every Hole at Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club

Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club is a semiprivate golf course located on the Central Coast. The inclusive and progressive club is owned by its members in a 5 star resort setting; along with the Pullman Magenta Shores Resort. It is about one and a half hours’ drive north of Sydney.
The course boasts magnificent views of the ocean on the front nine holes. The back nine holes are adjacent to the rainforest and national Parks with stunning bushland views. It is in an idyllic location adjacent to the Pacific Ocean on one side, Tuggerah Lakes on the other, and Wyrrabalong National Park to the North.
The Ross Watson designed course is a challenge and capable of bearing its teeth when the wind blows. In link style the architect used the natural terrain to its advantage, with rolling crouch fairways flanked by fescue rough to catch any wayward shots.
Many of the holes on the Magenta Shores course require a sound strategic approach to play; it often rewards placement over power to ensure you can attack the well-bunkered greens from the right angle.
The bent grass greens are sizeable, with enough slopes to challenge the best putters. The sand-based course is playable under weather conditions when others in the region and Sydney close.

My mum and dad retired up the Central Coast from Sydney so I've had the chance to play this beautiful golf course but very tough golf course a number of times had a few calm days and scored decent but when the wind blows Mysore also blows out very tough but very beautiful

awesome stuff! Yeah she can be brutal, it’s super fun tho and one i like to play at least a few times a year, think ive finally worked out how to play it along the ground hahaha . Thanks for watching and commenting :-)

Beautifully shot as always thanks! This is a beautiful but tough course. I've played it once - in a howling southerly. Needed a 3 wood to get 150m on the par 3 4th, but only a driver and 6 iron to get on the par 5 8th! Also lost about 8 balls 😆
