First off, I love that thumbnail, that drifted me gently into a cozy armchair by the fire with a warm spiced tea and snow dancing outside in the darkened sky, as the twinkling of the lights on the tree chime in tune with invisible bells... my sketchpad on my blanketed lap and a slender paint brush in hand, hosting a million little leaves and flowers just waiting to pop out onto the page... No I've never really experienced a scene like that I've never seen snow but I would love to But Just out there, thank you so much shayda for being amazing and just so Just showing the world what you love to do. It's brought out a lot that I never knew I could do and I'm immensely grateful for it. Happy Holidays in advance! I love how the world perceived Christmas extra early this time the literal sky and air feels like it's excited for the best time in the year. And best of all, for the first time in many many years, I don't have exams before christmas!!!

Hi! I have just started watercolor, and I love your channel! Do you have any suggestions for keeping the color saturation? Your colors are so much more vibrant than mine. It seems the obvious answer is just “less water”, but Im struggling getting enough paint out of the pan AND keeping the colors rich. Thanks!

@@aliyashah3113 i am still shy about my work. But husband showed some of my cards to people at his office and they all liked it. I don't know what encouragement i need but sadly i put very low value on my work. I keep telling them i am not good enough and i have years to practice until i am comfortable selling anything. For now i give them to family and surprise our neighbors. I painted a cat yesterday for the first time and i will give it to our neighbor who likes feeding stray cats.
