I really enjoyed Alicization up until this latest part... I have no idea why the atmosphere changed so drastically between WotU part 1 and part 2, but it's honestly gotten extremely stupid ever since it resumed, and that's coming from someone who has always enjoyed SAO in the past despite the mocking of the haters. But suddenly it's all irrationally re-focused onto Kirito despite the fact that he was never some unkillable god in the Underworld before, but now him and all his friends are suddenly winning their fights through *THE MAGICAL POWER OF FRIENDSHIP* because of utterly random cameos and ghosts, some of which aren't even from that world? It's a pretty ridiculous ending considering how good WotU part 1 was...

And sorry, but no, the rules haven't changed in the time between Kirito being put into a coma and now, so unless you're saying he had no resolve before when the world was about to be deleted, it makes absolutely no sense why he'd suddenly be 1000x stronger now. And that's not even mentioning how for example PoH is literally stronger than a god with just his own normal character, despite having had almost no time to master the world's vastly different systems compared to the other games he's played

If alicitization wasn't stupid enough, but watchable, and war part 1 was watchable, to watch part 2 and enjoy it, you will need to completely disable your brain and suspend all the disbelief. dbzer PoH did not have plot armor actually. In the light novels, it was already mentioned that incarnation can easily be manipulated by those who are sadistic and psychopathic, and we can agree that PoH and Miller fit those description. Miller, wanting to taste the souls of human, and PoH, his malicious intent to kill for the fun of it. The reason why PoH never died after Asuna’s attack was because of his weapon’s ability to absorb the sacred arts, which was keeping him alive as long as the weapon is with him. You can notice the dark aura covering his wound whenever he had his weapon and when Kirito shattered his mate chopper, the aura is gone and he is starting to actually die. Incarnation kinda is a big plot armor because if you have a powerful will, you are basically unstoppable. Even with a grunt account, you can still be a formidable foe via incarnation. Hope this helped clear some stuff up!

So if you're doing SAO lore, can you explain how levels work in Alicization? Like earlier a big difference in levels means that the lower level is like an insect to a higher level. There will be spoilers from here on. So when they want to send someone in they know they have to use high level accounts already in the system for them to do anything. Then all of a sudden a bunch of level 1s in the most basic gear are all of a sudden elite warriors that an army of really high level characters in high level gear just can't compete against. It has already been established that level 1s are nothing to a high level, how are they suddenly so powerful? It's like he just gave up halfway through writing this arc.

Can we just get into the fact that a sword that can slash backwards in time would be IMPOSSIBLE to code into any computer? (Unless you had unlimited RAM anyway) Even 10 minutes of movement data for several thousand npc's would be an unbelievable amount of information to store. Their exact positions and their exact stances, what they were holding or doing at the time... it's impossible to store that much data and access it in real time. And then there's the manipulation of that data. Computers would not be able to cope with that. No programming language in existence would support this.

For all of you who wants to watch the new SAO: Short review: Overall enjoyable until the end of War of the Underworld. Lots of flashy fight scenes, it's a fun anime with a bit of depth and lots of flashy fight scenes. Long review: Alicization part 1 (A1) and war of the underworld (WOU) were both questionable, but overall still enjoyable (I didnt like SAO past the first part of the first season tbh). It's very much a sequel to the previous seasons but acts as a soft reboot, presenting itself as a high fantasy story with a bit of isekai justification sprinkled into it. The moment alicization part 2 (A2) started, you are woken up with a rude awakening on just how terrible the writing on SAO can be. The fetishization is not for everyone though that is subjective. The previous loop holes from A1 and WOU are replaced with giant chasms of logic and redundancy. The latter part of WOU felt really dragged, and in A2 it became even more prevalent, you can barely feel like you were moving. Throughout A2 the 'power of friendship' trope becomes obnoxious as it retcons all logic and even a few established systems within A1 and WOU. The story moved slowly, but you do get a lot more fight scenes, which were all quite flashy, but it just had no emotional impact, no weight behind it, except for Bercouli's (even then it wasnt exactly stellar either). Overall it is very much SAO, both the good (fight scenes and the writing in A1 and WOU) and the bad (the non-existent established line of thinking especially in A2) are faithful and would cater to what most fans (who have enjoyed SAO thoughout its previous seasons) would appreciate. Note: english isn't my first language, so there are probably a lot of grammatical errors and redundancies there

I've enjoyed all of SAO, to a lesser or greater degree, throughout all of its stories, and especially liked WotU part 1, but part 2 is fucking awful. This sudden forced re-focusing onto Kirito and his (and PoH's) newfound godly power pulled from nowhere, the completely random MAGICAL POWER OF FRIENDSHIP for him, Asuna and Sinon, and the arbitrary cameos and ghosts being thrown in everywhere, none of that is standard SAO stuff, at least not to this egregious level. Sure Kirito was always the plot-armored main character and the Special Boy™ any time he was present, but the story was purposely made to be focused on him and make sense in that context. This is just garbage even for SAO, imo
