18:50 Maybe this is a difference between the light novel and the manwha. In the light novel he wasn't fired. He tells the Reaper Guild president that he can't get information on Jinwoo Sung because Sung's file was being classified and he didn't want to lose his job over this. He then asks the President if he would take responsibility *if* he was fired for snooping around. And that Go was on the warpath against anybody leaking info about Jinwoo.

One thing about Hunter Association President Gunhee Go that I found odd in the manwha and in the anime (which uses the manwha character art direction) is his facial scarring. They make Go look like this combat hardened veteran but in the light novel that's not how he's described. When hunters became a thing 10 years prior to the events of Solo Leveling, Go was already an old man with health issues. So when he awakened he couldn't fight like the other hunters could. He sold his businesses and created the Hunter's Association of Korea as well as becoming a congressman to advocate for laws benefiting hunters. So there's no reason why his character design should include facial scarring like he's a grizzled war vet. He was described as a large, intimidating, man in the light novel, but no combat wounds were ever mentioned.

One small correction regarding Dongsoo interrogating Ilhwan scene. Ilhwan doesn't threaten Dongsoo that his son will kill him. He tells Dongsoo to stay out of Korea or else he wouldn't be able to close his eyes even after he dies. Implying he'd become a slave to the Shadow Monarch (which we find out much later that Ilhwan was initially ordered by the Rulers to stop the Shadow Monarch. So it's not clear if he knew the Shadow Monarch was in Jinwoo at that time or that the Shadow Monarch betrayed the other Monarchs and was "good" again). Basically warning Dongsoo for his own good that he shouldn't go to Korea.

The giggest twist to me was despite how obsessed Freya is she still offered to share Bell with Ryu.

Hey @AniNews love your videos! When will you be releasing the Overlord Sacred Kingdom cut content? Just watched it yesterday on IMAX and while it was SUPER GOOD, I felt there were so many things skipped (should've just been a 12 episode series). Also the other sacred kingdom videos/cut content in KZbin right now are nowhere near as good as yours so super looking forward to it!!!

You should read everything covering the first season again then rewatch it. A lot of the “cut content” is just moved to another part of the story to fit in better with the storyline. Like today’s episode you see the guy struggling to summon 3 fire sprites so the next episode they’ll more than likely highlight the factor that nobody else can summon like him. However I’ve seen that this season is going to fit 3arcs into it so a lot of stuff will more than likely be cut but I’m okay with that because the story just continues to progress forward. Unlike stuff like Noragami where they completely mixed up the story elements doing flash forwards to keep the audience entertained. Mainly because there was so much dialogue that they had to throw action in from the next season and spoil all the key story points before the plot could have you guessing why yato was in the situation he was in. Another one that does this is twin star exorcists

People need to remember anime will never cover a lot of the content…hence I recommend to read the Mahnwa you will never regret it!

What I love about frieren is that there’s no unnecessary violence between characters that care for each other. So many anime’s have women beating up men because they have a crush on them. No unnecessary screaming, no people being evil for the sake of it. People are overall very kind. Feels like a ghibli show

I'm honestly conflicted on which version of Iron's summoning between the anime and manwa. I like the use of a smokescreen, but the distance that Baruka was at doesn't exactly make sense with the timing of his charge and Iron's appearance compared to Igris distracting Baruka for a few moments

I put Go Gunhee at my 2nd favorite above Cha Hae In, and this episode disappointed me. I won't say it was ruined, but it was pretty mediocre compared to Manhawa.

i feel sung would have made a killing selling magical items to the guilds, especially when preparing for the ant problem, he'd have items that could greatly improve either mana ability or power, giving aid to magic users who might have harsher limits. If he worked with Go directly he might be able to get around the red tape, and even find ways of strengthening bonds between the guilds especially with the looming threat of the ants

corection to this video: Frieren saying that the journey with the heros was 1/100th of her life was referring to the fact that the journey with the heros was 1/100th of her life that she had already lived since frieren was already over 1 thousand years old when her journey with the heros began. Knowing that makes just how long her life truly is really set in on you. Frieren herself will most likely live to be well over 50,000 years old as that is the general max lifespan of elves, however most never made it there as they are killed before their long life truly finishes. Crazy right?
