I just changed out the hinges to locking ones on the hood. The product you recommend could be a problem if the Key FOB battery dies. Not to mention if the product fails.

It has a manual release, that’s what the long gray cord is. Both are great options!

@ bro you are using the jl wrong you can set a code on steering wheel and just put hood locks and you can even get a finger under the hood if you are worried about someone getting under your hood

Bolt 🔩 makes a few products that will key themselves to your switch blade key 🗝️ on the keyfob, from a locking pin 📌 for your tow hitch, bicycle 🚲 cable, and the center hood latch. It does have a rubber push on protector to prevent mud snow and ice from getting into it. Only drawback, 💰!!! But it is secure 🔐 and could prevent alot of bull 🐂 shit 💩. I'm just not sure i would want to depend on something electric ⚡ when the auxiliary battery gives trouble, or the main, or both... especially when a long ways from nowhere.
