My theory around Crystal, Typhoon, and Blaze Release is that they aren't a combination of two elements, but rather sort of a "crystallization" or intensification of a singular element, Blaze being the concentrated version of Fire Chakra, Typhoon being the concentrated version of Wind & Crystal being the concentrated version of Earth. The only question would be what would the kekkei genkei versions of Lightning and Water. For Water, my idea would be similar to Yagura's mirror jutsu called Abyss or Deep Release, allowing the user to take on the reflective qualities of Water, able to temporarily reflect back the jutsus and the images of their opponents by using mirrored surfaces like still water and even creating perfect copies of their opponents to fight for them.

One thing that's always confused me is how they just use kekkei genki as blanket term to cover everything outside of the basic chakra types. Yet still make distinctions for kekkei tota and kekkei mora. Like wouldn't those just counts as a kekkei genki as well?

That said, from what I remember, Kekkei Tota can be taught, no genes required. Kekkei Mora are unexplained, but that seems to be a term for Kaguya's god powers, e.g. the precursor of Kekkei Genkai. So, no genes required here, either.

@@seelentau from what I know a Kekkei Tota is the blending of 3 chakra natures into 1. The only known one is Particle Style. And u have to have the affinity for it (which is extremely rare) to even learn it. Meanwhile a Kekkei Mora is the blending of all 5 chakra natures and yin-yang release into 1. Which is something practically only an Otsutsuki can do. Actually as of right now, if he applied serious research to it. Orochimaru could learn Kekkei Mora too and gain his own truth seeker orbs.

@@michaeltuitt2847 Well, yes and no. The affinity stuff isn't true, you're probably confusing it with the anime-only info about having an affinity for two natures to create a Kekkei Genkai. And "Kekkei Mora" describes all of Kaguya's techniques, not just the elemental ones. Even the Rinne Sharingan is a Kekkei Mora.

Fire and lighting is speculated to make Blaze release - which is what Sharingan users use to control the flames or Amaterasu. Wind + lighting is likely Swift or Typhoon, though obviously thats pure speculation.
