EVERY Magic Item Location in Baldur's Gate 3 (Acts 1-3)

-If you kill the strange ox in act 1, you'll only get the Shapeshifters Boon Ring. If you wait until act2 in last light inn, killing the ox gets you both the ring and the very useful Hat of Fire Acuity. ( addressed later in the video ) -Rugan doesn't have to deliver the shipment back to the Zhentarim himself. You can pick up the chest in the cave and deliver it *unopened* , to get the same result. -The Abyss Beckoner gloves are terrible at first, but when you get access to the lvl6 spell Heroes' feast at late game, everyone including your summons can get advantage in wisdom saving throws. Worth keeping in mind. -Roah Moonglow will be at Moonrise towers in act 2, so her initial inventory will also be available there, along with several new good items. Unless you killed her at the goblin camp, of course 😁 -When you are confronted by the Duergar in the boat, choosing to fight (but not shove the guy into the water) will get you most of the inventory he would later sell, plus another unique Warhammer, stored in a chest on the Duergar's boat. -There are four merchants in Last light inn, potentially. Not three. Talli, Dammon, Mattis and Wulbren. Wulbren sells an amazing pair of gloves that can actually make the weapon you get from Bernard useable, along with outright giving advantage on attacks. - You can get the Ring of Shadows from Oliver even if you start a fight with his imaginary family. - Shadowheart picking the good option regarding the Nightsong, doesn't only get you the Moonlight Glaive. During dialogue at camp later, Shadowheart will be rewarded with the Selune version of the legendary Spear. ( addressed later in the video) - If you are playing any build with a fondness for using crowd control spells, the 'real' treasure from the area the djinn sends you to is not Nyrulna, but the Band of the Mystic scoundrel 😎 - Regarding looting tbe basement of the stormshore tabernacle, i do believe you cannot get the maces from tbe devas anymore, as it has been patched out. Furthermore, if you want to avoid the curses and the deva encounter altogether, just send tbe contents of the chests directly to camp, from within the chests.

just tested the deva mace is still possible if done with controller, kill the deva, pick up the corpse, then connect controller and go to your characters weapon, you can then equip the devas mace directly from the menu (only possible with controller to my knowledge, make sure to donate after doing this glitch so you get to keep your annointed in splendor buff)

Thank you for this great Item location guide! Here's some I know about -Barcus Wroot sells Acrobat Shoes, Gloves of the Automaton and the Ring of Geniality. Act 2, Last Light Inn -Assassin's Shortsword and Watcher's Shield: Found on a pair of skeletons along the cliffs west of the House of Healing. X: -250 Y: 36 -Marksmanship Hat: Moonrise Towers: Bought or stolen from Roah Moonglow on the main floor -Shield: +4 Shield. Kill Hope at House of Hope (Non lethal might work. haven't tested)

I imagine with the Barcus Wroot vendor you would of had to had saved him in act one both at the Blighted Village and at Grymforge

You can get the amulet of elemental torment by looting Hope after fighting Raphael. I'll test the timing/circumstances and report back.

1:14:00 She did allowed me to do that, she was very angry and said she would immediately depart as soon as the brain was dead, but she stuck with me till the very end. Which was a good thing cause on my first playtrough I only had her and shadowheart with me by that point considering astarion left the party cause I didn't let him ascend and I never meet the other companions in act 1

@@elvenring I didn't failed either, just had the best possible relationship possible with lazel and neutral with astarion. After the battle I did had the chance to ask her to stick around with me, but I told her to go kill the evil queen or whatever it was that she wanted

You missed the aberration hunters amulet (mainly give advantage on intelligence checks to githyankis or characters disguised as gith) in act 1 by killing or pick pocketing Ghustil Stornugoss (the healer of crèche Y’llek) it’s useful for the Zaith’isk because if you pass all the checks (which 2 of them can be intelligents) you can use all your illithid powers as bonus action

**SPOILERS FOR THE ACT 1 DRUIDS GROVE STORYLINE** if you want the hellriders pride, are doing a Super Good Guy run, and don't wanna knock out zevlor, follow this guide. step 1: talk to kagha at the heart of the grove. she will tell you to go talk to zevlor about escorting the tieflings out of the grove. step 2: talk to zevlor and either tell him you'll kill kagha or you'll escort him out. either way doesn't matter. step 3: go back to the heart of the grove, and go to the back room in the far left, there should be a table front and center with a note that is not illegal to read and one that is, read the *not illegal* note. this should give you xp. step 4: go back to kagha, and exhaust her dialogue about the rite of thorns. step 5: go back into the room you just came out of, go to the back left there is a bookshelf, look to the right of the bookshelf for an opening that leads behind it. pick up the chest that's in there. if you get seen, say hold firm, what was taken is now yours. the guy will just run off and disappear and you won't get the guards called on you. step 6: go back to camp, drop the chest on the ground, and have astarion lockpick it. step 7: read all the books and notes inside in detail. step 8: go to the swamp (you'll find it, if you haven't yet) and jump across some rocks at the lake docks to get to a big giant tree with some baddies around it. step 9: slay the baddies step 10: go around to the back of the tree, there's going to be an area covered in vines, use fire bolt on the vines, and walk up to the hole in the tree. step 11: read the note in the hole. step 12: go back to the druids grove and confront kagha, I won't spoil anything about what happens. step 13: go back and talk to zevlor, he will reward you the gloves and ask you to kill the goblin horde leaders. step 14: revel in your holy virtue.

@@elvenring yeah mb I was kinda flying through making this and forgot how long it would be 🤣. though I think for most players they probably didn't even catch/know of the investigate kagha questline. I missed it in 9 consecutive playthroughs up til this one.

you missed the hidden ring that gives you plus2 on death saves. thats only natural since you only find it if you investigate successfully and ironically find a grave, thats not in the graveyard. and that ring basically makes you immortal.
