True but let’s be real here it’s pretty much how it is, the LGBTQ community has been hated on for a while regardless of religion or culture, it’s less about moral wrongness and more about genuine dislike, like I remember seeing this old cartoon where it said black people were made from fallen angels and that Jesus white, people tend to use religion as an reasoning for their own judgements, it’s also kind of the reason why there can be Goth people who are Christian but Goth and most alt sub cultures are seen as satanic. In all honesty basing things like LGBTQ+ communities or any type of thing like that strictly on religion is just kinda foolish when you take account for the amount of misinterpretations there are on literally every religion

Correct! Most Neo-Pagans in general tend to be very accepting of LGTBQ+, not just the Hellenists. Though unfortunately some Nazis have flocked to Norse Paganism as a "true white faith" despite the rest of its followers actively condemning them. Personally, I haven't had the misfortune of meeting any of those, but some of my Norse pagan friends have. Obviously the Nazis are homophobic, but the normal Norse pagans like my friends tend to not have any issues with it (I mean, Loki gave birth and shapeshifts into a woman in some myths, Thor has a history of crossdressing, and Odin frequently takes the form of an old woman in stories where he travels through the mortal realm, and is also known to be a practioner of a branch of Norse magic that was typically practiced by women and gay men who were bottoms)

Thanks for sharing your perspective. While it's true that Islam has deeply rooted values that many Muslims hold steadfastly, it's also worth noting that Islam is practiced by a diverse global community. This diversity has led to different interpretations and approaches to various issues, including LGBTQ rights. Some Muslim groups and individuals work to reconcile their faith with supporting LGBTQ individuals, rooted in values of compassion, justice, and understanding. For example: 1. Inclusive Mosques: Organizations like the Inclusive Mosque Initiative in the UK aim to create spaces where all Muslims, including LGBTQ individuals, can feel welcomed and practice their faith without judgment. 2. Imam Daayiee Abdullah: Based in the U.S., Daayiee Abdullah is one of the few openly gay imams who provides spiritual guidance and support to LGBTQ Muslims. He emphasizes Islam's core principles of mercy and acceptance. 3. Muslims for Progressive Values (MPV): MPV is an international organization that advocates for human rights, including LGBTQ rights, within the framework of Islam. They promote inclusivity and work to create safe spaces for all Muslims. 4. Queer Muslim Networks: Groups like Salaam Canada and Imaan in the UK provide support for LGBTQ Muslims, offering resources and community spaces to explore faith and identity. These examples don't suggest changing the core principles of Islam but highlight how some interpret and practice their faith in ways that emphasize love, acceptance, and inclusivity. Every Muslim's journey is unique, and the diversity in approaches reflects the broader spectrum of how Islam is lived and understood around the world.
