grogu was born in the same year as anakin, apparently has a high midichlorian count (according to statements made in the mandalorian show), and had a lot of protection for himself during order 66. Not to mention he demonstrates very strong abilities in the force without much training. For the producers to make grogu be born at roughly the same time as anakin (we don't know the exact date of birth, just that his birth was within months of anakins), doesn't seem like a coincidence to me. My thought is that plageuis is still alive. After all, with all his experimentation regarding immortality and essence transfer, I don't think he just allowed himself to be killed for good by palpatine. Anakin brought down Sidious, and Grogu will bring down Plageuis, or at least thats my theory. Then grogu will establish a new, reformed jedi order, based around balance, and allowing attachments and whatnot. just a theory though.

I love how grogu is the force equivalent of a nuclear warhead. if he can't control himself there will be almost no one who can stop him. Yoda's race are all powerful force users and grogu is no different, however unlike the others who more or less grow to the light side grogu is a clean slate that can swing to either side. he might be a key player in star wars when he grows, And the possible future ruler of mandalor
