No. His completion percentage was average (56%), he never threw for more than 30 touchdowns in a season, he never passed for more than 4,000 yards in a season, his touchdown to interception ratio wasn't better than 2:1, he didn't pass for more than 150 touchdowns in the 16 seasons in which he was a pro and, most importantly, he didn't win anything. By comparison, Russell Wilson, who is only in his sixth season, has passed for just six fewer touchdowns, less than 4,000 fewer yards, has a superior completion percentage, and has been to two Super Bowls (one of which he won). So, no, Michael Vick's NEVER getting into the Hall of Fame. He was a generational talent but, being objective, his career has to be seen as a failure. Had he not gone to jail and spent more time developing his superior arm talent to become a more accurate and consistent passer, he would be a top 20 all-time quarterback.

What a talent. Rocket of an arm and ran like a quick running back. He was never fully able to develop his passing game consistently but if he did, wow, probably a HOF for sure. Plus he was real fun to play with in NFL 2K5. One man show on turf.

0:31 This pass went 50yds in the air and he threw it while rolling out and with pinpoint accuracy. Ridiculous.

Imagine if Andy reid had been mike Vick's head coach from the start of his rookie year...
@micahjimoh53654 жыл бұрын
I always say this. If he got drafted to a team with a coach that could develop him (and he stayed out of trouble) he could’ve been top 10 all time

@@micahjimoh5365 no doubt and how many super bowls would he have won with TO. When Vick is healthy, there’s nobody better.

He’s still one of the best quarterbacks I’ve ever seen. If he didn’t do the dogfighting stuff, he would’ve been a Hall of Famer for sure. The fact that he was left-handed, and could run better than most running backs made him unstoppable.

#4 is always my most memorable throw. Effortless scramble pass to his receiver WAY downfield while also throwing him open to casually walk into the endzone. Such a dominant player.
