Mistakes Pcharge 052 is better with psi for expert maps but 250 is also very good so that's fine Ring of fire and inferno ring 420 and 520 is better, meteor pierce is really important, 502 is only better for r100 damage Elite defender is ALWAYS a 205 unless geraldo or perma brew reactor is always 402, 420 reactor is dreadful (except races), it has nothing to do with the airburst earlygame Ballistic is always 032 bruh Hot shot is useless, 310 410 and 510 is best 030 downdraft is usually enough but yeah 032 has better blowback if no xpath isn't enough 105 heli best, pursuit is a terrible upgrade I'm not sure about this, but 520 mortar and alch is better for stun, also 025 is still better than 205 in mortar but I'm not really sure about mortar if I'm being honest Yes, 502 wizard is always better Also just a note, 205 Wizard is better on stuff like flooded but that's pretty obvious I guess 023 dark Knight geraldo is actually pretty viable, especially after the base super nerf making 203 worse For top alchemist, the number of monkeys is a factor yes but its way more complicated because towers have different uptimes depending on how fast they attack I'm pretty sure 140 alchemist sucks and 041 is a lot better Thats not how Spiked balls works Basically 320 is the better crosspath, however 302 is situationally better. I'm talking about expert maps, so 320 is better on quad, dark castle, workshop, middle lane of dark dungeon, whilst 302 is better on left lane of dark dungeon, ravine, bloody puddles, blons Side note: 015 XXL trap used to be way better on expert for targeting it, no one cares about the stupid beginner maps, however it was nerfed and now 205 is literally a must which means it is a useless tower anyway. For some reason they made it so that the trap deploys every three years Also another note: MIB is a TERRIBLE tower

Tier 5 top path Glue is actually better as a 502, because you already have enough pierce for anything, and the glue lasts longer, so for longer maps it does more damage to larger balloons. Besides if you want more pierce you can just get a 420 village.

@@njh123 even with the acid, 502 is better. Before round 81, Bloon solver drops so many acid pools that Pierce isn’t needed. After round 80, most of the time you’re getting a solver for the ceramics so the bigger slow is more useful than gluing more with acid pools

Top path bomb has x-0-2 as the DPS crosspath. I would still agree that the top path is meant for stuns and x-2-0s are the better crosspath, but it isn't the DPS option.

the frags cannot hit the same target as the main bomb for example, if a 402 hits a moab the frags cannot hit that moab also as a side note, you cannot buff the frags, meaning giving it an alch buff doesn't makes the frags stronger

try testing its single target also tried testing it at pierce cap and 420 out dps 402 while yes 402 usually out dps 420 in general, there are also times where 420 out dps the 402

@@kleyiron The only relevant rounds for single target are BAD rounds and round 80, all of which are quite irrelevant to the strength of bloon crush. I tested on round 98 and in that round, 5-0-2 out-DPS'ed 5-2-0 considerably: It finished the round earlier and lost no lives while 5-2-0 lost 8k. I haven't tested 4-2-0 vs. 4-0-2 because that upgrade is completely irrelevant for all purposes other than ceramic stall. (Bloon crush can at least do a bit more than stall.)

some things worth to note : - 520 Inferno Ring, the main zone attack appreciates the extra range as it helps clearing ceramics and moabs - 024 Moab Press, useful for multilane maps where the glaives almost never hits its pierce caps on maps like quad, also has more strength in the midgame due to the low amount of blimps - 320 Ice Shards, the layer soaking matters for races as it allows more shards - 4+01 Embrittlement/Super Brittle, just like cripple moab for freeplay speedbuffs allows it to have over 100% uptime and the range allows it to debuff more bloons - 042 Snowstorm with 200 alch, basically a bigger arctic wind while still allowing the ability to affect ddt - 04+0 Supply Drop, for farming only crosspathless can be better since it makes the sniper do less damage/cheaper - 104+ Necromancer/Pod, situational but also viable due to the extended zombie lifespan, notably used for quad

Worth mentioning that only one instance of burny stuff can be active on a bloon at a time, so if you’re planning on using a bottom path mortar and a top path mortar, cross-pathing the top path mortar with x-0-2 becomes redundant, and should be cross pathed with the middle option

About the turbo charge: Red hot rangs gives substantially increased damaged to the perma charge (like +11 at some points). I forgot the exact stats but it’s worth looking it up. You can also always just get a 3xx village for pierce

Essentially, glaives give more theoretical dps against many many targets (even considering buffs), but red hot rangs are better against smaller numbers of targets. Usually, red hot rangs ends up being better

In a realistic situation 250 is better due to rounds likes 98, 96, etc Although 052 does more damage it has bad pierce and nearly 3x pierce from glances is not even close to the +1 a 3xx village

I'd be interested in an updated version of this that accounts for all the new buffs and other developments up to update 40. Especially with the dramatic changes that some crosspaths got. For example, the 0-2-4 and 0-2-5 Tack Shooters now have enough pierce to be far more viable against larger groups of bloons than the 2-0-x tack shooters.

Beast handler "crosspaths" can be useful. If you are gonna focus on 2 beasts, you can still have the main beast/ the higher tier buffing beast and the other weaker t2 beast to merge to the other type of beast. You will save money and space.

Quick note: If you are setting up high degree paragons for bosses or super-late game, you'll want to run the most expensive path (only the T4 sacrifices) as well as the cross path, Example: 2-4-0 Darts, Boomerang and Engineers. Boat farming works with 0-2-4, else 4-2-0. Ace 2-0-4, and Ninja can be as both Shinobi buffing and Paragon building, 2-4-0 for both, 1-3-0 for Shinobi only, and 0-2-4 for mainly paragon building

Things that I say are missing (correct me if I'm wrong): -0x2 fanclubs are better on boss events to grind for the paragon, and also spam 042 -x20 boomer is better with an alchbuff -*mistake* 052 permacharge is the better crosspath -3x2 bomb does more damge after the buff, but still useless -032 is better when using one mauler for the extra damge, and not as your core strat -4/5-01 brittle is better when you have enough buffs to get 100% uptime for the range -Technically said but 205 impale if you don't have MIB -*mistake* 5x2 solver is better for the extra slow and duration almost always, middle path only on races, build up or elite bloonarius -042 glue if you need the ability for cerams, but hardly ever worth -301 sub can be good for a bit of extra utility just in case for not that much (on chimps be careful) -420 sub on races -250 heli if you got it to doorgunner an embrittlement or a dps tower that outdps the marine. -301 super skip ultravission if you have camo, mainly on chimps -401 alch is also better on 2MP, because middle does way too much damage -DO NOT buy AMD, leave it as 10x as it makes other monkeys steal the leads -501 spirit can be useful in some challenges where you need the extra vines already in the track (buy range first) -302/402 spike can be better on apoppalypse since the spikes don't despawn -x05 spike if you have no alch

The top path glue gunner is better being bottom crosspathed if you buff it with a top path village as it gets enough pierce to basically hit all the bloons, while the bottom path glue gunners ability to slow down bloons more and last longer and have puddles that last longer cannot be earned by buffing the glue gunner. Plus you get extra pierce when you buy the fifth tier. So the bottom path is better if you're getting the fifth tier glue gunner and are buffing it with the top path village. But if you're getting a fourth tier, yes the middle path is much better even when being buffed with a village.

You missed on: (Primary) Bomb top path, for more dps you go 502, for more stuns you go 520. -Boomer perma charge, it is always better to go 052 after damage buff to buttom path which gives +4 damage and +8 when active ability. Less pierce can be managed by an alch or a primary village. -Top path glue gunner If u plan on teir 4 only, it is better to go for 420 for more glue, but if u plan to go for 5th teir, it is always better in all situations to go for 502, because 5th teir already has so much projectiles so much pierce and a very fast attack speed, so nothing leaks, which makes longer glue uptime way better than more pierce. (Military): Top path boat 4th and 5th teir don't get advantage from alch by their main dps which is the planes, only the boat itself gets buffed, so if u have a close range to track 520 is better, but if not then 502 is better for more pierce on planes darts.

Personally, I tend to give my top path helicopters a middle crosspath. The better speed tends to let them line up their shots more easily, better taking advantage of pierce. That being said, I typically only place one helicopter, and, funny enough, I have never looked up strategies for the tower.

I have a strategy with middle path dartling of putting it at the start of the path pointing away from the entrance along the path, then using the top crosspath to increase pierce, which in turn doesn't miss because it's near the start of the path.

A bit of controversy. The 0-X-2 Druid is actually more dps due to them synergizing much better with buffs including Poplust druid buffs, so if you're gonna buff them go 0-X-2 but if not leave them 1-X-0 for the lead popping power. The 2-0-4 Bloon Trap engi is actually better in cases with cross pathing because of the amount of traps it can drop out and money made, but this is usually only the case when placing it far in front of your other defense's so a 0-1-4 is most likely what you're gonna do and this is opposite for the X-X-5 as the 0-1-5 is always better as the trap release time is very minor in difference and much better at preventing your other towers from popping the moabs before it can eat them.

I disagree about perma spike, it's better to use 205 factory + 240 ice in front of it. Spikes will pop moabs and ice will keep ceramics from eating up the pierce. It also stalls the round so you can build up more spikes.

024 bomb with alc is not good since it has way less pierce and you shouldnt be using recursive for moab damage 402 mortar is much preferred over 420, as it has actual use midgame 023 super is genuinely better sometimes, especially with geraldo even when buffing 3+ towers 420 alc is better, as it just goes from 99% uptime on 2 towers to 66% uptime on 3, which is about the same, and it doesnt have the extra shot count 042 farm is generally better than 240 since the only time theyre good youre selling them after 1 ability theres a bug with 025 pspike which makes it so that if you reload it loses its amd, so in gold border/ce 205 can be better pretty sure you got everything else right, better video than i was expecting

top path bucaneer is better with the bottom crosspath (502) as the extra pierce provides more dps in the long run)

The 0-2-5 bomb blitz is better when used on its own, the 2-0-5 is better when you use it combined with Ezili’s totems if you only care about the blitz passive ability.

I go with 041 banana farm, it glows to remind me to deposit, i can always afford to deposit thanks to being able to take a loan from it. Once im done depositing, i upgrade it to 042 or 052 and forget about it.
