Look at that goddamn Ryan Leaf start against the Chiefs. 1 of 15 for 4 yards with 2 picks, 2 sacks for 23 yards, and somehow fumbled three times, twice on fumbled snaps, with an additional botched shotgun snap that produced an 8 yard loss. So that's 20 total pass plays that produced a total of -27 yards and four turnovers. God, that is so majestic. 🤣

Bar, I love this sorta thing but there’s way too many pre-1980 guys. Hell, pro bowlers completed 50% of their passes with 1:1 TD/INT ratios regularly. Shit, some HOFers had numbers like that. The fact there’s some modern era guys just shows they were the absolute bottom of the barrel on horrific teams, but a lot of these 60-70s names are self evident. It’d be more interesting with a time cut off around 1980.

Steve DeBerg wore that contraption on his back (and in his helmet) for a few games in 1980 - it was a microphone and speaker. He needed it because he had laryngitis. The 49ers once faked that the speaker was broken so that Joe Montana could come in and run a naked rollout run for a TD against the Jets.

Dishonorable mentions for other Packer QB's Jerry Tagge, drafted by the Packers in 1972 in the 1st round out of Nebraska, was more than likely picked cuz he graduated from GB West HS. He lasted 3 years and threw 3 TD's 17 int's. He started 12 games 6 in each of 2 seasons out of 3. Zeke Bratkowski, I'm going to get flak for this one cuz he was a lovable backup to the Packers and a long time assistant coach to Bart Starr and Forrest Gregg for the Packers, but he threw 21 td's to 29 int's in 9 backup starts to Bart Starr during their playing careers. In fact, his career TD/INT ratio is this, 65/122, he nearly threw 2 picks for every TD pass he made. Brett Favre, STRICTLY 2005! threw 29 int's and our worst season since 1991, 4-12, still a hall of famer tho! And finally, Randy Wright, a 6th round pick out of UW-Madison, he started all of 1986 which I would argue was the darkest and worst season in Packers history (Charles Martin anyone?) as they went 4-12 that year, Wright threw 17 td passes and 23 int's. On that note, at least the Packers never had a 30 int thrower unlike the Bears (BOOM! SHOTS FIRED!)
