They went bust in the U.S. If I remember correctly, they said before going to the U.S. that they haveno intentions of coming back to the Philippines anymore. Then, they left for the U.S. and nothing was heard about them anymore, except for an article in a local showbiz column, many months later, saying that Marissa Buñag was working as a shoe salesperson in America.

Hi there! Actually Marissa has been back in the Philippines for over 20 years now, and together with Juan Miguel restarted the 2nd Generation of the band. Juan Miguel left in 2005 and formed his own band, Authority.

Yes you are right. It was quite a difficult experience. We tried, maybe not our time.

@@RageBandPHL In fairness, you guys were showmanship personified. In my opinion, the only thing that hindered your success was a dire lack of original material. That being said, "Walking Into A Heartache" was FANTASTIC! (Do you remember that particular song of yours?) The first time I heard that tune blast out from the radio in 1984, I immediately stopped whatever I was doing then and went "Holy shit!" If only you'd been able to come up with more songs like that. Its also a shame you never had any compilation album containing that song. Could you post that tune? I'd really appreciate it.

@@RageBandPHL My mistake: Regarding my earlier reply, "Walking Into A Heartache" wasn't a composition of yours and was originally sung by France Jolie. If its any consolation, your version rocked.

@@edwinsantos7937 Hello Edwin! Thanks for your comment. You're right, Walking Into A Heartache was a cover from Canadian singer, France Joli from the album Attitude (1983). Veronica "Onie" Castillo was the vocalist for that song. In 1984, we began singing original material starting with "Whiplash" which was featured in the compilation album for the movie "Ninja Kids". We also had other original material "Shy Eyes", "Every Night and Day", "Believe Me" and others. Often sung/performed while promoting concerts. :) We received heavy rotation at 99.5RT & 101.1 KISS - FM, with the song Believe Me reaching #1 MRS (Most Requested Song) in 1987 for 7 for weeks in a row. :)

@@RageBandPHL Before anything else, please accept my sincerest apologies for my original comment using the "F" word regarding your hollywood stint. I'm so ashamed I got carried away. I assume you still are in touch with each other. That being said, do you think all of you could still possibly hook up for a one-night reunion concert here should I be able to bankroll the whole thing? Please don't think that I am some high-profile promoter. In fact, I have zero experience whatsoever in promoting concerts. I am just an avid music fan who believes in promoting bands who in my opinion deserve the praise and accolades denied them due to a string of bad luck, and am willing to risk my time and money should I find the right and honest promoter/partner. The pay might not be much, but should this pipe dream of mine somehow come true, rest assured you would be compensated honestly and fairly. I would appreciate any suggestions or comments you might have. And please tell Juan Miguel, his daughter happened to be a school mate of my daughter in St. Paul. God bless you guys.
