To be fair, they had to make sure daedra didn't get to the people.

I usually just run past all the enemies and speed run it to the Sigil Stone. Less of a slog that way!

Yep, crank up acrobatics, pop some skooma and just fly over the lava and straight to the top of the tower

The Wayward Knight quest is actually really good. There's a story behind different outcomes a unique design. Why couldn't all the city gates be like that? The randomly generated ones don't have to be but at least do the same with the aforementioned Allies for Bruma quest. Those ones should've also had preset sigil stones and other rewards of great value.

Back when Oblivion was released I did EVERY SINGLE Oblivion Gates 💀 Some are pretty cool and in fact that's the thing I enjoyed the most, I liked the idea of being "trapped" in Oblivion without being able to buy potion / repair your weapon, it was a bit of a challenge sometimes

"Stop, brother Argonian! Daedra are attacking Kvatch, there's a portal to Oblivion, you should definitely run, run while you still... the what? Soil quality?!? I'm not really sure, I don't- you're gonna plant WHAT?!?!?"

@@AccidentalNinja When the Oblivion Gates opened in Black Marsh, a ton of Argonians invaded Oblivion, planted Hist trees and moved right in
@AccidentalNinja4 ай бұрын
@kingofthegrill What? I'd heard they invaded Oblivion, but not that it was a migration invasion or that they'd tried planting Hist trees there. Where is this in the lore (not doubting you, I'm just interested in reading it myself).
