I'd have a few antivirus rescue files, for starters. I would assume that, unless otherwise seen, an infected computer cannot boot to the desktop. Or use if there is potentially dangerous malware on the computer. Data recovery and backup, Windows installs (at least Windows 7+), Linux, and more.

Not every PC tech needs it. I have my own Server, I fix PC, not everyday. All this software and Windows Installations, come off my Server via Network (PXE Server [Serva Software]), it is the best. It`s running, Win10, WinServer, some Linux installs, WinPE, Windows Passwords Recovery Softwares, Acronis for Cloning, Partition Tools, MEM tools, even the old Ghost Cloning, Antiviruses Software , which every week I update them, a lot Software Tools which not in my mind right now. There is not need for me to have them on External Drives. Great video, keep on hard work!

I've had an external 120GB M.2 drive that I back my writing on for about 2 years. MS Word docs are all I store on it, so it doesn't have to be bootable so I don't need any extra software. If I need format a drive I do it with diskpart. If I need to install Windows I keep a copy on a separate USB drive.

Acronis is subsription. Paragon HDD v15 is better as you can have a recovery capsual like OEM'S recovery by pressing the F 10 etc button to recover a failed system which not boots. The later one looses that unfortunately.

I only tried Clonezilla once. I won't do that again. Acronis fails so often, that I only use it as a last resort. The older versions wouldn't recognize an uninitialized drive. Also, for example, Acronis will not successfully clone a Windows disk that has QuickBooks installed (unless you call having to reactivate it a success). I miss the days of Norton, but they didn't keep up. I usually use Lazesoft for cloning. All that being said, please keep up your work. Even when I disagree with the details, I don't necessarily disagree with the concepts.

Please do a video on his other software that turns an ISO into a bootable partition file to work with EasyBoot. I've chatted with the author and this is the only way to use this to boot a machine that has secure not turned on; which is on by company policy. My hope is that you'll do a better job of explaining this process. Particularly, switching from one partition file to another, which is the part I cannot seem to get to work the way he said it should.

@Rood67
@Rood67 4 жыл бұрын
@@steve6375 you put together a wonderful piece of software. However, your reply illustrates the point I was trying to make. You are a fabulous programmer; yet, your ability to communicate is lacking. I have this same problem when trying to show a colleague how to use one of my PowerShell scripts. I talk over their level because I already know how it works. I understand making the partition files. My original comment was, I do not understand how to switch between one to another. Loading the included image file to see how it works with secure boot is not an answer to the issue I have. Hence my request that Brian play around with this, as he is very good at communicating on programs so everyone understands. Because I know, I'm missing something so simple, sitting right in front of me, that I cannot see the answer for my over complicating things.
