I hate RTN/STN. I lost all my SPS to it slowly during my first year with sps. Finally after 2 years in the hobby I've been able to keep sps with only 1 RTN.

I started getting STN when I started using Vibrant. Increasing my filtration and changing filter socks every other day seemed to work stopping it. Can the dead bits grow back if you leave them?

Kayvon Torandaz it can possibly grow back over top of it self. I had my rainbow mongo grow back over the dead stuff :)

I have RTN and STN right now... How can I deal with that.. I lost a lot of Acropora corals now... Should I need change waters 100% ... My tank is 120 gallon... I need help sir.... I don't know what happened my tank please help me out sir....

I am having this with LPS! At least I have only one coral dying for no apparent reason! I t just started losing its tissue! I dint dip this coral like an idiot! I guuess on reason was I had my eye on the moselya colony for 3 weeks and it looked fine and my lfs is very picky! Never had any problems with her corals before so I took a chance! I don tknow if I should frag it or dip it and if I dip should I use coral rx or iodine based! Today it got real bad after I moved it! and turned light down. Is a low light coral and it was on sandbed. I do think I have dinos but kept blwing it off if any got on it! I thought my dinos was gone so I bought a bunch of corals! Another dumb move! Is dino x to strong for new corals! I just bought over 2,000.00 worth! I cant believe I did something so dumb!
