Every Retiring LEGO Star Wars Set in 2023

This is Every Single LEGO Star Wars Set that is retiring in 2023. In this video I go over every retiring LEGO Star Wars set and try to determine wether or not they will make for good LEGO investments.
Every star wars set on this list is scheduled to be retiring in late 2023 or very early next year. However, since LEGO can be somewhat unpredictable on LEGO set retirement dates, it is entirely possible that some of these Star Wars LEGO sets could be retiring at a later date. Also, LEGO set retirement dates can also be based on how much in demand a particular set is. LEGO sets that are in high demand such as the Republic Fighter Tank, set 75342, The UCS Republic Gunship, set 75309, and Mos Eisley Cantina, set 75290, are more likely to retire on the early side than not, since these sets are being bought more frequently than most other LEGO Star Wars sets.
Before Investing into any of these retiring star wars sets, I would wait a few months before investing. This is because you will wait much less time for these sets to increase in price on the aftermarket, when you buy them close to their retirement.

What are you talking about? The millennium falcon is a major upgrade from any of its predecessors. It's the one to bring the long-awaited solution to the gap problem, in an ingenious way. It's also the most accurate one to date. There is a reason it stayed on shelves for four years, beyond the unique minifigures.

The aftermarket prices for the first r2 were way higher before the new one get released. And also what would you expect for the figure selection, sure the r2 could have been exclusive, but why would it include anything more then that.

The UCS AT-AT is the hardest set to get your hands on here as it's exclusive to New Zealand, and @ a whopping price of $1.500 NZ.

Ngl the fighter tank’s build isn’t good enough for a $40 set. But there are enough alternate builds on the internet that can make you a good fighter tank by using 2 of them, so you always have that option

Do you mean the Mandalorian Starfighter? If so, I'm sure you can find it for less than $90 on eBay. Personally I really like the Mandalorian Starfighter as an investment. But it does suck that Bo-Katan is coming in a foil pack. This could hit the price of this set a bit since Bo-Katan is no longer exclusive. If you can NOT find the mandalorian Starfighter for a good amount less than $90. I would recommend buying Gar Saxon. Gar Saxon will Most likely never be made again and will be exclusive to this set. So I think Gar Saxon is a good bet for an investment. Before investing in the Starfighter or Gar Saxon I would recommend that you do your own independent research and get a second opinion.

Can’t really complain about getting mini figs that are perfect for sets. What else is there to get with an x-wing other then Luke and R2. What else do you want from a buildable R2-D2 other than the R2 mini figure? Doesn’t make sense.

Agreed, like, what do you want from a $40 TIE Fighter? Grand Moff Tarkin? I’m fine with generic figures, as long as they fit with the set, and it means that you could buy multiple versions and never have a mini figure problem, but that’s just me.

Should note if its your theorys The republic fighter tank is not retiring as it only just came out a few months ago. Ans the reasons you give arwnt ones lego look at for retirement. Age. Age retires them period
