These Saiyan transformations allow the Saiyans to tap into their different reserves of potential for the sake of a power boost. Also, Super Saiyan 4 is still a "Super Saiyan," just not a golden-haired one. Same thing with Super Saiyan God, as both are still "Super Saiyans," but they aren't part of the original line of Super Saiyan transformations. With Kale's transformations, it's what you could the "Kale-type Super Saiyan" forms. She has her equivalent of the regular Super Saiyan form and then her berserk and controlled stages of her Super Saiyan 2 form.

Fave is ss4 for sure. It's design is so good and I miss having such a unique form instead of hair color changes (or actually unique if subtle forms like ssg and and UI Omen being quickly thrown away for more generic hair color changes). Not only is it unique but it is just downright cool and ties to the monkey theme of the Saiyans really well.

The first thing dragon ball I ever watched was GT, so it was all uphill from there for me lol I liked GT, I think people don't like it bc it's just not as good as the original stuff, but as a show it's not bad, im here from the broken sword!

I like how there are even subsets of super saiyan. idk if you go into it but I remember at some point goku says theres a few different levels of super saiyan 1 where you dont just get stronger and yellow hair but also buffer. I remember Goku was buff SSJ with youth gohan at the hyperbolic time chamber. and that explains why future trunks gets fuckin ripped

You forgot "Saiyan Beyond God" which is between "Super Saiyan God" and "Super Saiyan Blue". It was the "State" Goku & Vegeta were in the whole time before they transformed into Super Saiyan Blue in the movie "Revival of F". It's a level higher than when Goku lived as a Super Saiyan to fight Cell. This is the same but more difficult and higher level because it is internalized and the outer appearance is base. Which is what Goku will have to do with Ultra Instinct.

So? We are just talking about *all* the Super Saiyan forms. Plus it's iconic to the point it wouldn't feel right to exclude it in such a video. GT is also canon to itself and could be considered an alternate timeline or alternate canon.

@@t.dmattocks6119 Sadly it cannot. The only way that were possible is if Akira Toriyama had a part to play in the script he only had a part to play in the character design for a small handful of characters. If that’s the case any fan made anime or manga could be considered an alternate timeline

@@intelthebrain GT is not fanmade it is official media. Plenty of media features canon materials that are not made by the original creators. Look at Star Wars, or even One Piece letting other people tell prequel stories for Ace and Law in the form of light novels. And again regardless of if you consider an alternate timeline it is an official alternate canon. It is canon to the larger Dragon Ball franchise outside of just Akira Toriyama and is an iconic part of this franchise.
