The production in this album is incredible. It has the jazzy smoothier moments on Cherry Bomb, a lot of personal lyrics as it seen in Bastard, the cohesiveness of Wolf and the performances of guests and Tyler himself are incredible. Great video, dude, and I'll be waiting for the Kanye week!

@@cassiusjoseph6655 I don’t think it’s incohesive. I think it’s pretty balanced in terms of diversity. I’ve always liked albums where the songs sound different and not the same like 90% of albums. Usually the artist follows some sort of motif and that can be cool to hear now and again but damn it gets bland and blends in together. So I guess I’d rather have a little bit of subtlety and dynamics

For sure, he's got a great ear. Very underrated producer. He's like a king of all trades. Writes at a high level, produces at a high level, flows at a high level, even his linguistic ability and inflections in his voice are heavenly. It's weird how he's simultaneously so famous but still underrated. It's like no one understands what's actually special about him.

Supremetoosteezy I think Gambino samples the drums from Do Your Stuff by Parliament on Boogieman, samples part of Good to Your Ear Hole by Funkadelic on Riot, and kinda uses the chord progression from I'd Rather be With You by Bootsy Collins (or at least it sounds like it) on Redbone. This is what I've gathered, but the rest of the material sounds original to me. A video on it would be sick

I vote for album of the year. This was amazing. I would say Cherry Bomb was like a puberty stage for Tyler, you know? He wanted to be more into the production part of it so imo it was an experimental album. I've always loved Bastard and Goblin and can't tell you which one I like better. Wolf was obviously a classic. And with Scum Fuck Flower Boy (nobody uses the albums full name, it's sad) it was a perfect blend of Tyler growing up, finding out what he's comfortable with, and telling us more personal things about himself. And do I think he's gay because of all the innuendos throughout the album? No. I don't. But if he is, that's okay. I know Complex was making a big deal out of it. We can be gay together Tyler. I love you.
