Santonio Holmes did some amazing things as a Steeler.

So sad the way he left Pittsburgh... One of the greatest receivers in Steelers history, even though he was with us for a short time, he left his mark! How to forget that reception in Super Bowl 43, all those Touchdowns against the Ravens... Now even retired he is one of the former players who most supports the team in events like the draft, ending his career with the Steelers would have been excellent... Great video !! Thanks for share!

AB who? Give it up for my man Holmes. Best catch in SB history. Come to think of it, probably the best throw in SB history. Ben is like "triple coverage? Not a problem, let me float that right over the top!"

His touchdown against the Bengals in the '06 finale that knocked them out of the playoffs is one of my favorite plays of all time.

I cried as a kid when he got traded. one of the worst days being a steelers fan for me growing up
@Blazen771234 жыл бұрын
CWAttack87 I was very disappointed too… And it only lead to A string of players I really liked leaving. Santonio, Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders, Martavis Bryant, and finally Antonio Brown 😭

1 of my favorite steelers. Wish we'd never traded him
@jaymac5084 жыл бұрын
He had the majority of them against the Ratbirds too! Wish they of kept him. Probably win that Super Bowl against GB with Holmes on the team. Big game WR and big plays when needed guy.
@RagnarokMic3 жыл бұрын
In that Super Bowl they had: Wallace, Sanders, Brown, and Ward...WR's weren't an issue. Much as I love him, he wouldn't have made a difference. Pouncey not being injured in the AFC championship would have won the game, that weakness in the middle was a huge factor.
@jaymac5083 жыл бұрын
@@RagnarokMic Yes! Not having Pouncey was huge but actually having Holmes would of helped. Other then Wallace, the Steelers didn’t really have anyone that could stretch the field. Sanders got hurt and didn’t return which was a huge loss. Brown wasn’t really a big part of the offense until 2012 and Ward was on his last legs in 2010-2011. Holmes was a big game type WR. Definitely could have used him no doubt.

Lol boooooooo!!!! As a Ravens fan the 2 wr I couldn't stand was Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes. They were clutch and always killed my Ravens. Y'all had Wallace, Sanders, Brown, and Juju over the years but it was Holme who struck fear in my heart in the 4th quarter. I miss the old days of the Ravens vs Steelers. Best rivalry in sports in my opinion.

Dude! How do you come up with these!? These videos and topics have me like the Dave Chapelle crack-head bits. "Got any more of those Yintzburgh videos?". Lol. This one though. The memories. I remember my Wife in a local Ethiopian restaurant near DC where the crowd was pro-Ravens hoists my young son(in his Steeler fleece) in the air after Santonio 's zig zag TD IN AFCC. He and Plax were legit 1st rounders. He was largely responsible for a SB victory and wins leading up to that. Also I recall him doing the OSU DANCE after the Bengal TD. Oh if had been around in the GB Super Bowl.....😁

Hahah thats a top tier skit 😂 Right up there with Prince & Rick James! lol Yeah, Holmes was one of my favorites growing up, it was a shame he couldn’t finish his career in the Burgh. I think he would have only gotten better too

Holmes was a good guy Maybe he wouldnt get hurt like he did on the Jets if we kept him. but i know this one thing if we had Holmes in Superbowl 45 Greenbay we be 7 time champs. ill take Holmes 23 tds and a ring over Ab 9yr stats no ring.

I Remember one of his early Games as a STEELER. I sold Motohomes, on Sundays in the fall we'd crank up the genny on a plush $500k Class A & watch games! It's pretty slow fall in the Northeast.LOL!

Santanio Brown...Oh, I’m sorry, I combined the two biggest headcases in the history of our franchise. Very talented and very troubled
@judiplaz4 жыл бұрын
I never thought Holmes was a head case. He had a domestic issue in Ohio State, and he liked his weed but he got along with his teammates, especially Ben. Never made it about himself. Like some one else posted, they kept Brown around way to long and got rid nod Holmes to soon. I loved him. Ran great routes and was fast. I was upset when Steelers got rid of him.
@vanhasuden10443 жыл бұрын
You know he wished that he could have remained a Steeler. But stepping on your ding-a-ling, with golf shoes by getting into legal troubles will make Rooney drop you faster than a hot pan. Shame. A player from my favorite college team, The Ohio State Buckeyes, to my favorite professional team made as happy as could be.
@loveslakers1263 жыл бұрын
Steelers gave up on him too soon just like Mike Wallace.
