PLOT:
A teenage brother and sister keep their family in turmoil with their romantic escapades.
KERRIGAN MAHAN BIO:
Kerrigan Mahan is three generations Hollywood. As an actor, he’s appeared in numerous television shows, commercials, and movies. He produced and directed the critically acclaimed one-man show, Matty, an Evening with Christy Mathewson, with well received runs at The Two Roads Theater in Studio City and The Lambs Theater, Off-Broadway.
He played the EVANGELIST in the feature film, “Angels in Stardust,” starring Alicia Silverstone. He wrote, produced, and directed the travel show, California Highway 1 Discovery Route, On the Road with Jo, currently streamed on You Tube. And so many summers ago, he wrote, directed and did the voice of the monster in the heartfelt short, The Redemption of the Monster of Piedras Blancas, for which he won best local short at the San Luis Obispo Film Festival.
Mahan has written three feature-length screenplays, an original coming-of-age motorcycle road-racing action drama/love story entitled, Chasing Valentino, a Depression era family film entitled Screenland, adapted from the book, The Boy Who Looked Like Shirley Temple, by his late father, Bill Mahan, and Paint It Black, adapted from the novel of the same name by Janet Fitch. He has also created and written an original adult television pilot, entitled, The Tullamores.
As a voice over performer, Mahan has been heard on hundreds of radio and television commercials and has narrated numerous television shows, industrials, and documentaries, voiced dozens of promos and trailers, and has acted ADR background on over one thousand TV shows and movies. He’s been the hardened cop, the menacing heavy breather, the PA announcer, the nut case in the insane asylum, and on it goes. He’s been strangled, chased, trampled, slugged, stabbed, shot, and set on fire... and that’s all before lunch.
In live action, his most famous and sustaining role to date was the ever popular and fearsome villain, GOLDAR, of the hugely famed, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series, to JEB, the talking dog on the VR Troopers series, to GOLDAR on the big screen in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. A few generations later in the series, he voiced the dark and tortured anti-hero, MAGNA DEFENDER in Power Rangers, Lost Galaxy. Goldar was even heard as the Ford Escape 1.5-liter engine on KZbin..
Mahan was the mafioso on the phone in the opening frames of the movie, The Professional. He was the GREMLIN in Seven Days, the FUNWORLD PATROLMAN and SECURITY GUARD in Bebe’s Kids, TROY LARSON in Supernova, and the GAY PENGUIN in Dr. Doolittle. just to name a few. He was the black Ford 150, ATTACK BEAST, on Team Knight Rider, and the radio political shock jock, P.J. HAWKS on The District.
In animation, Mahan was EDWIN ALVA on Static Shock, multiple characters in Ultimate Avengers, has guest voiced on Family Guy, Alvinn! Scooby Doo, Batman Beyond, Fantastic 4, Cow and Chicken, As Told by Ginger, I Am Weasel, The Angry Beavers, Dilbert, God, the Devil and Bob, and so many more.
One of the pioneers of the 80s resurgence of anime, he voiced PRIVATE SEAN PHILLIPS in Robotech, REI GANSEI in Vampire Hunter D, KIMBALL KINNISON in Lensman, RINGO in Technoman, PABLO in The Professional, the coolest of cool, BUNTA in Initial D, and hundreds of other characters, including the original Yamcha in Dragon Ball.
And finally, for a little fun, Mahan wrote, directed, and starred in goofy vignettes on You Tube entitled, Goldar & Me on his KZbin Channel, Mahan’s Mayhem!
