1:09 You can tell they hired a better animator to do the secret reload. It's more fluid (not cause it looks cool, but because it's just better). The camera work is also better. Maybe it's an animator that used to work at Infinity Ward.

eh. i dont like the shaky screens myself. the HK reload at 0:57 is my favorite. i think the subtlety is a big part of these, and having the screen shake everywhere and your focus change to the mag in the sky kind of throws off the gameplay

@@XaineSLI Hardline easily could've been the best Battlefield game if EA just let DICE go to Visceral Games HQ and help them fix the netcode like they literally asked EA to. DICE was trying keep that game alive, they saw the potential, but Visceral didn't know how the Forstbite engine worked (it's notorious for being difficult with people new to DICE or non-DICE employees). Definitely had the most potential but EA let it die by not letting DICE fix the networking.

​@@Caffeinated-DaVinciwas that the actual reason it died? That game is like the cod ghosts of battlefield where it's just hated by everyone but there's never an explicit reason why. I had to dig through old forum posts to find a possible reason why ghosts was so hated and the only reason I found was because the maps were too big for 6v6 which means that if it was just not on PS3 and Xbox 360 it could've had 12v12 and been a great game

2042 is the most corporative Battlefield, everything feels fake and off, but I'm glad the team still added these

It feels fake and off because the senior devs that worked on the good battlefields left after they saw that ea wanted them to make a battle Royale battlefield. So they had to move amateurs into senior dev spots and quickly get new hires up to speed only to flip mid development away from battle Royale and try to half ass the rest of the battlefield formula.

In America we load MGs with ammo In Mother Russia we ammo with MGs

So if i had to guess seems like every gun in the game has a secret reload but they have there own requirements to perform it and the way it looks it's based on the magazine type for that weapon so for example: PBX-45 with CQB rounds gives it a chance to pull off the secret reload animation. Where some guns require not only a specific ammo type it also sometimes requires the magazine to be completely emptied before it can do it.

In my experience you just have to empty the gun as fast as possible to get the Garand Thumb reload, I've had it show up a whole lot.

Secret reloads are something battlefield 4 can afford NOT BATTLEFIELD 2042. The normal reloads of battlefield 2042 are from bad to extremely bad and need some serious rework. The devs better put there time in that, not this unnecessary silly

BF reload looks like they animate for 3rd person game then use a mod to change it to 1st person. Every animation looks so flooty, every movement look so jiggly and soft, it doesnt convey force or characteristic. It looks like polygon smashing each other, some even clipping. It looks like the character is shaking in their boots while trying to reload. BF 1 have such nice animation but then this BF 2042 got this unfinish feeling like BF5
