What I love about Joseph’s face off with Ramsey is that it truly shows that Ramsey truly does care about bringing out the best in people. If he was that “bad” he would’ve fought Joseph no problem. Instead he just let him say whatever it was he needed to. He played mental games with Joseph instead and humiliated him mentally by saying “Look at you.” And “You’ve got no respect.” Gordon, realizing what kind of person he truly is, and making Joseph realize what kind of person he is too. Dave blitzed this season. He had a broken wrist, and won with said broken wrist without having any beef with anyone, stayed extremely humble, never lied to anyone, and was never nominated once. This is the epitome of a pog champ

He also managed to do amazing things during the contest: He at one point, with three chefs left, was given a challenge of making Indian cuisine. The other two had Chinese and Mexican food, which is usually vastly easier and something a lot of chefs make. He had never made anything Indian before and had no idea what they wouldn't eat because of religious beliefs. (he asked Ramsey at one point if they didn't eat beef while making the food), and despite using pork (a no-no in the country most of the time due to a lot of other religions that live in India), he won the challenge for making an amazing dish that beat out the other competitors. If he didn't know how to make something, he damned well-tried to make something that might work or ask about what he needed to work. He was hands down probably one of the best competitors of the whole sow.

Season 6 IMO is by far the best season of Hell’s Kitchen by a mile. So many great characters like Van, Tenielle, Jim, and Robert. Great chefs like Kevin, Ariel and perhaps the GOAT Dave, who did it all with a fractured wrist! And so many memorable moments: Louie getting eliminated in the first service, Joseph’s meltdown and face off vs Chef Ramsey, Red teams hilarious failure of a service for the marine’s homecoming, or Ramsey walking out of HK with Chef Scott mid service during the final six. Loved this season!!

I think that the best part of this season is in the finale. Dave being a trooper and winning, but I noticed the door in the finale. In most seasons, the handle is on the same side for both doors, but for Dave it was on his right. That means they had to bring in a door special for the finale and only the finale.
