Hey Troy, you probably won’t see this, but I’ve been playing Mario Kart Wii ever since September 2008, just a few months after it’s initial release. I was only three years old at the time, and I played the game casually for many years with my dad and eventually my younger brother. I eventually got Mario Kart 8 when it originally released in 2014. However, I never really felt the same feeling that I got when playing this game. I discovered your channel about two years ago and have watched ever since, and have enjoyed your videos every single day since. One day I was watching one of your 200cc speedruns and I said, I have to get 200cc. So, one day about a year ago I woke up early and downloaded it on my Wii U. By sheer luck I already had a CCP controller and I began my CTGP adventure. After time trialing in 200cc online for a few months, I’ve recently experimented with online. Since I’m only at about 5.2k VR, my games are mainly 100cc. This game has reentered my life and makes me feel the way that 8 never made me feel for whatever reason. Thank you so much Troy for this video, your tutorial videos, and your videos that make me tune in and watch and laugh daily.

Real nice of you of plugging Arc's (great) channel instead of making tutorials of your own, wielding the clout you do within the MKWii community can be a double-edged sword (geddit), and letting other channels room to breathe and even promoting them when you could easily get 20 times their views by covering their ideas is a very responsible gesture. @Ref If youre playing with the Wii wheel (whithout the shell) it's propably because you're doing both a trick and a wheelie at the same time. If that is the case, press B while in the air. That will cancle your wheelie. I don't know the controls for the other controllers or the Wii wheel shell so if you're playing one of these I can't help you.

The Wii online mode doesn't work anymore. It was shut down about a year ago or two. You can hack your wii and use MKWii hack called Wiimfi and play online that way. It's really fun but a little harder to get access to

Tingeling, my wii did the same for ever. I could never get it to work. I tried swapping around the internet connections and stuff and played around with it a little, and i noticed that in the internet settings, if you use connection 2, instead of connection 1 it worked.
