How refreshing !! An honest video about high handicap golfers. I watch so many of these, as i am also a high Handicap golfer, by high, i mean hitting 60 plus on Par 32 nine hole courses. I have been playing nearly 12 months now, and the best i have ever scored is 21 over on nine holes. I was beginning to think i was the only player to hit Quad bogeys. Loved the content, and shall follow your progress keenly. Keep persevering, and if you find the secret to stop chunking and thinning shots all over the place, please let me know. Loved the Jesus Christ counter, cracked me up every time 🙂

Hello mate, many thanks for watching! And I know the feeling: I've been playing for about 15 months now and still not breaking 50 consistently through 9 holes (par 35) at my home course recorded here. I think my short game is letting me down with the constant fats and thins, and will soon have a lesson to hopefully fix even if just a little. I'm sure you'll start to see the scores lower soon as the summer months kick in, and the ball can travel and roll out a little further. I really appreciate you subscribing and will hopefully be updating the channel with new content in the coming weeks! Cheers! 🙌🏾

Hi Dwayne, Thanks for making this video... I've just taken up golf (just been visiting the local range). everyone I've met thus far play really well & there's me skimming the ball along the floor... I'll be back in the UK in the July august & plan to visit a course or two. your video feels me with confidence. Thanks for sharing.

@@GolfWithTheFlow Believe me the feelings stay the same even if you play single digit handicap you will f... up some shots and get crazy about it. That never changes, just the frequency goes down 😎

Cheers for watching mate! The first time I actually ever played a round of golf was last year Jan in New Zealand at Takapuna GC haha. Got clubs and started playing as soon as I was back in the UK.

You are extremely entertaining, I love the Jesus Christ counter. One of the best of these type of videos I've seen. That looks a tricky course, so many trees
@GolfWithTheFlow8 ай бұрын
Haha, glad you liked the counter, a little bit of comedy to lighten the mood as I learn my way around a golf course 😂🙌🏾

Try to stand closer to the ball and more upright. Lots of arms in your swing too. I think you could hit a nice little fade if you smooth the ball more and allow your body to clear. Best of luck and thanks for the videos!

Everything you mentioned are things I have noticed and worked on with my golf pro. So thanks for that, you have a good eye! 😎 I now tend to fade the ball whenever I manage to make a good connection. Cheers for the advice, I truly appreciate it, and thanks for watching! 🙌🏾

I don't think anyone can diagnose your swing from seeing you play, my advice to all beginner golfers is to make sure you see someone who teaches the basics of grip, posture and balance. You will never hit the ball like you expect without those areas being efficient. Take one lesson to give you those fundamentals and work on that and you will start to see results. This will make the game easier because you'll place your body in full operation to how the a swing and club works, clubs are built a certain way to be used...... Good luck!!!!
@GolfWithTheFlow8 ай бұрын
Thanks for comment! I had a lesson teaching those fundamentals but I feel I need to revisit and be reminded of them. Thanks again! 🙌🏾
@thackblanos8 ай бұрын
@GolfWithTheFlow yes, sir. Tiger pounded those same fundamentals and worked extremely hard on those specific areas, so revisiting that would be invaluable.

Great video,wat handicap are you
@GolfWithTheFlow7 ай бұрын
Thanks man, no official handicap yet. I need to hand in a few more scorecards.
Scores not important mate. If you’re having a good time it’s all good. Only takes a couple good shots to keep you coming back. At 70 I’ll never dunk a basket ball, never could. I could never hit 100 mph pitch. No 4.5 50, ect. But I occasionally hit a shot a PGA pro would take any day. All golfers do.

Oh yeah, absolutely, my mindset is always to enjoy each and every round. And of course there will be a few moments of frustration but they never overwhelm my enjoyment. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and cheers for watching! 🙌🏾
