I highly encourage finding all the bubul gems. The story associated with them is incredibly weird and something that everyone needs to experience for themselves. When people say that this game is weird, literally *nobody* would have come close to guessing any of the story details right.

Just wanted to give my thanks as a new Zelda player! Spent about 6 hours on Great Sky and it never dawned on me to hit the apple trees, I climbed them all, the Koroks, the boulders in the paths, attaching smaller pieces to the out of reach pieces... all small things but directed me to change how I looked at the game, so thanks again!

One thing I noticed in Version 1.1 is there's a problem when quick swapping weapons with the stick. There's this wonky delay when scrolling thru your current weapons, almost like the cursor is getting stuck. It happens every single time. Hope it gets fixed cus it's pretty annoying in the heat of battle when a weapon breaks & you need to quickly switch to another & the cursor gets hung up for a second or two before it starts to actually scroll....

For anyone wondering, spears are better because things added by fuse have set damage boosts which can be set on any weapon. Since generally spears have low damage and high attack, adding a high amount of damage to it is pretty strong. This doesn't make other weapon types obsolete but it's pretty cool

Not sure why you recommend against baked apples & toasty shrooms. They can stack multiple in a single inventory slot, but every recipe takes up it's own slot. The only recipes worth cooking are to boost a status effect. In BOTW, I farmed apples from the orchard on Satori Mountain, and baked them on the ground by Goron City. Had over 900 baked apples in just one inventory slot....all the health you'll ever need.
