downpipe will make it sound a little louder and hear the turbo spool better and also breathe better as well. That being said it doesn’t really matter if your gonna tune it or not as downpipes don’t add much power just help the turbos breathe better. A tune is what will really gain you a lot of HP on those g80’s. Keep up the good work man been watching since like 2018.

The jb4 is good enough for what he has done for the car currently. But there are benefits to unlocking the ECU and getting it flashed to have access to BM3/ECUtek/MHD. the downpipes will change the sound and bring more power even with no tune. if you dont want the check engine light, get high flow catted downpipes, and jb4 doesn't blow up your car lol. it will basically tune it to for the extra parts youve added to maximize them
