Bobby became a favorite, that’s why he won that 2 tattoo challenge. He didn’t hit the styles he was supposed to. Which was the entire fucking point of the challenge. Anyone else would’ve been gone.

I agree, I'm glad someone said it. I think Bobby has amazing talent but he played it safe more often than he should've while other artists took big risks that paid off and still didn't get the love from the judges that they deserved.

Jsut here to say Freddie beat yo ass on every challenge , despite not being the favored artist from the jump like you were anyone with any sense could tell the whole thing was rigged for you to win 🤦🏽‍♂️

Bobby's and Freddie's tattoos are BREATH-TAKING! I already imagine how hard it is to draw it on a canvas but to draw it on literal skin and in such short amount of time! absolutely stunning

It’s true. I’m the proud owner of the heart tattoo from episode 7; it might not have been a top tattoo of the day, but it’s still a sick effing tattoo. I got compliments on it almost every day during the summer when I was in shorts.

I thought Bobby played it safe to often, he produced solid work but its hard to go up against Freddie who pushed himself, Freddie was my number one, but Bobby also did excellent

If the judges didn''t just love Bobby becasue, he would not have made it halfway through- but they didd. They wered down right giddy at times, and repeatidly voted for him when he would fall short of the specific ask, just becasue they like his final product. They even admitted often. But in seasons past many great tattoos that feel short of th ask were sent home. The specific challenge was always the determining factor- but not for Bobby.

It should’ve been Freddie and Jon against each other. Bobby was my favourite during the first few weeks, then he started to slip off my ranking, that’s when I realised his tattoos he’s done throughout the competition, became very boring and unoriginal.

Yeah but they were flawless tattoos. I agree with your point about 💯 % but Spirit bear to Spirit bear 🐻 , Bobby’s bear did not meet the challenge. But not only did that neo trad tattoo look way more aesthetically more pleasing to the eye. It will look better longer over time without touch ups if it’s maintained well. Because of the more simplified more blocked in approach. The only problem is Chris Nunez ghost is still cursing the show & Freddie’s black & grey female piece was too “ugly” for the judges & producers etc to stomach. Even though it was a provocative art piece. I don’t think Freddie was robbed though bc Bobby overall just did so well. Joel explained it perfectly at the end there. But in the matters of taste there is no dispute.

Same!! I didn't even know him but his beanies, crazy hair and big glasses got me, and I said from episode 1 he'd win. Freddie was pretty amazing tho ngl

I thought Freddys black and grey master canvas was awesome. Tbh, John, Bobby and Freddy in the final is porbably the most talented finale.

I was thrilled Bobby won. His tattoos were so beautiful. Freddie had talent but added an immature heart or flower on each design and the mutilated woman tattoo was horrific.
