I think that finally reading the Six of Crows duology probably had something to do with hearing you mention it in every other video(thank you!). If you are wanting more books by female authors of Asian descent, you should absolutely read A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki. First of all the COVERRRRRRR, but 2nd- I read it in early 2022 and it's a favorite of all time. The audiobook is fantastic because it is read by Ruth, but this story is...everything! It will make you feel so many feels. I LOVE IT. I feel like it deserves so much more hype then it gets. The random HILARIOUS things she inserts throughout the book are these left hooks that catch you off guard and crack you up! Her voice is so strong, funny, and delicate all at the same time. I would love to see your reaction to this masterpiece! I had to buy it physically after listening because I want to reread it physically... and then maybe again with both physical and audio. haha
